The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.A. Powell rode Eric Lock (GB) (reserve) trained by Noel Meade (Race 4)
W.M. Lordan rode Gardone (reserve) trained by E. McNamara (Race 7)

032C Put The Fun In Fundraising H'cap

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P.L. Malone, that J.M. Sheridan, rider of Hezahunk, had presented himself to weigh out at 2lbs overweight, none of which had been declared at declaration time. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that this was the case and apologised. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards allowed the overweight on this occasion. They were however, satisfied that J.M. Sheridan was in breach of Rule 198(vii)(a), and having considered his clean record in this regard, they fined him €150 on this occasion.

D.S. O'Sullivan, rider of Jazzy Dancer, trained by W.J. Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled out of the gates.

032D Irishinjuredjockeys.com (F) M'dn

N.M. Crosse, rider of Ribean (USA), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the gates momentarily.

032E Floodlit Fridays At Dunalk H'cap

The Raceday Stewards advised Tom McGuinness, trainer of Esticky End, that a repeat performance from his charge who stood in the stalls and refused to race, may render the animal liable to a suspension in the future.

J. Cleary, rider of Esticky End, trained by Tom McGuinness, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount refused to race.

032G Group Deals Availabe At Dundalk M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ms Olivia, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident close to the line involving Viamonte, ridden by A. Browne-Souza, placed third, and Tino Pai, ridden by Nicola Burns, placed second, where it appeared the two horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
