The Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P. L. Malone, that L.T. McAteer, rider of Inishmot Prince, had presented himself to weigh out at three pounds overweight, none of which had been declared at declaration time. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that L. T. McAteer was in breach of Rule 195(i)(c) and Rule 198 and having considered his record in this regard the Stewards suspended L. T. McAteer for two racedays. Furthermore, the Stewards granted a request from the trainer to substitute L. T. McAteer with W. Joyce.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of La Bella Viva trained by Patrick Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly from halfway.

Coen, where it appeared that Teddy Boy ran short of room and had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. A. Powell stated that his race was run and he felt he kept a straight line. C. P. Hoban stated that he suffered minor interference but his mount was unable to take the gap when it was there. J. Coen stated that his mount drifted left and he corrected it when he heard a shout. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action other than to remind J. Coen to ride with more awareness in the future. J. Coen was accompanied at this enquiry by Mrs. E. O'Farrell.
