The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the home turn involving Sharkii, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed fourth, Tilly's Company, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, and Billie Be Quick, ridden by K.G. Kennedy, placed fifth, where it appeared the three horses came close together. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
264B Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dnM.W Hassett, rider of Heir Island, trained by T.J. O'Mara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
D.E. Sheehy, rider of Somptueuse, trained by M.C. Grassick, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on leaving the stalls before reaching the marker poles involving Betsen (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, placed first, and Somptueuse, ridden by D.E. Sheehy, unplaced, where it appeared W.J. Lee moved across making contact with Somptueuse. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.E. Sheehy stated that his mount slightly missed the break and it just got a little bit tight for room. W.J. Lee stated that he thought he was clear of Somptueuse and eased back out once he felt contact. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found W.J. Lee was in breach of Rule 211(a) by failing to ride in a straight line to the marker poles from his draw position. Having taken his clean record into consideration, the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one raceday.
264C Irish EBF Auction Series M'dnN.M. Crosse, rider of Siyaan (GB), trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount tried jumping the railing after one and a half furlongs.
W.J. Lee, rider of Saint Brandon, trained by Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled slightly right half a furlong from the finish. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
K.G. Kennedy, rider of Gangsta Man, trained by Kevin Michael Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung slightly left coming down the hill.
G.M. Ryan, rider of Copacabana Sands, trained by Diego Dias, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Light Conductor trained by Eoghan Joseph O'Neill was lame on its right fore post race.
264D1 Grant Thornton Nursery H'capA.J. Slattery, rider of Kitty Bear, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran around a bit off the bridle.
264D2 Grant Thornton Nursery H'capL.T. McAteer, rider of Boutella (GB), trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got hampered in the straight.
N.M. Crosse, rider of Allenwood, trained by Jack W. Davison, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he got no luck in the straight.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Runninsonofagun, ridden by R. Whearty, placed third, Boutella (GB), ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed fourth, Zaraahmando, ridden by C. Horgan, placed second, and Allenwood, ridden by N.M. Crosse, placed fifth, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R. Whearty stated that things got a little bit tight and his mount leaned slightly left. L.T. McAteer stated that he suffered interference from his outside which he felt cost him a place. N.M. Crosse stated that he didn't suffer any interference as he heard a shout. C. Horgan stated that his mount lugged right off the bridle and he thought he was clear of the other horses. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that C. Horgan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his clean record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.
C. Horgan, rider of Zaraahmando, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very keen and ran up on heels in the early stages.
264E Grant Thornton Ulster Cesarewitch H'capThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Squire Danagher (GB), ridden by W.J. Lee, unplaced, Zoffanien, ridden by Adam Caffrey, placed third, Belgoprince (FR), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed sixth, Wisdomofhindsight (GB), ridden by B.M. Coen, unplaced, and Charlie Darling (FR), ridden by R. Whearty, placed second, where it appeared numerous horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. B.M. Coen stated that he was going backwards when he received a slight bump. C.T. Keane stated that tired horses just came together and he kept a straight line. Adam Caffrey stated that he got a slight bump passing horses and felt he kept a fairly straight line. R. Whearty stated that he was clear of the interference. W.J. Lee stated it just got tight as horses were tiring. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action. Mr. R. W. Steele, Acting Steward, recused himself from this enquiry.
264G Grant Thornton H'capN.M. Crosse, rider of Waystar, trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.
