The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately three furlongs from the finish involving Lakota Blue (FR), ridden by Sam Ewing, and Janes Harbour, ridden by M.P. Walsh where it appeared these horses came close together on the inside. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Sam Ewing stated that he was on the inside all the way. His horse jumped left at the third last and he returned to the running rail where contact occurred. M.P. Walsh stated that he jumped the hurdle better and went for the gap on the inner but he didn't have the horse to go through it. Once he had committed he had to keep going and contact was made. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found M.P. Walsh in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.
D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Billie Frechette, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped right at the first.
340B Tayto Group M'dn H'dleD.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Harry's Legacy (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost his action and pulled up.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Harry's Legacy (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled a right fore shoe and have a slight overreach but was otherwise post race normal.
340C Eventsec H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards granted a request from John Patrick Ryan, trainer of Drumgill for an additional 10 minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (i).
E. Walsh, rider of Walhaan, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered by the faller four out.
340D Ladbrokes Champion S'chaseThe Raceday Stewards interviewed J.C. Gainford, rider of Hewick, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for nine race days.
340E Eventco Marquees H'cap S'chaseThe Raceday Stewards requested a report from P.A.Fahy, trainer, following the winning performance of History Of Fashion in this race, which appeared to represent an improvement on its previous run. The trainer reported that this horse lost ground at the start the last day and never got involved. Having liaised with the IHRB Handicapper, the Raceday Stewards considered the report and noted the explanation offered.
C.P. Millar, rider of Valsorpresa (GB), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran free throughout.
