The Stewards fined John C. McConnell, trainer, €65 for failing to fit sheepskin cheek pieces to Pat's Pearl, prior to entering the parade ring.

The Stewards interviewed C.A. Landers, rider of Tonkinese (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip frequency regulation. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his previous record into account suspended him for 4 race days.

P.J. Cawley, rider of Thehairyfella trained by D.J.Barry, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount lugged right all the way.
