The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

J.P. Murtagh, trainer of Namiid (Off Feed) - €200.

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D. McMonagle replaced N.M. Crosse on Andab, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien (Race 1)(intended mount a non runner).
D.P. McDonogh replaced L.F. Roche on An Laochmor, trained by J.G.Coogan (Race 8)(Stewards Permission).
N.M. Crosse replaced R.P. Whelan on Barnavara, trained by Mrs John Harrington (Race 5)(stood down)
R. Whearty replaced R.P. Whelan on She's Smart, trained by Adrian McGuinness (Race 8)(stood down).

106A Irish EBF Median Sires Series M'dn

R.P. Whelan, rider of Vincent Square (GB), trained by Brendan W.Duke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away and ran green.

106D Keadeen Hotel Irish EBF (Fillies) H'cap

The Raceday Stewards reviewed where R.P. Whelan , rider of Mveve, was unseated leaving the stalls. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mveve stumbled independently of any other runner and that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident inside the final two furlongs involving Orchidaceae, ridden by W.J. Lee, Dancing Teapot, ridden by D. McMonagle, and Pickersgill, ridden by R.C. Colgan where it appeared an incident occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. R.C. Colgan stated that he had to slightly check as Dancing Teapot drifted left. W.J. Lee stated that he had to briefly sit when there was movement from the horses inside him. D. McMonagle stated that as he made his challenge the horse in front of him carried him slightly left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

M.W. Hassett, rider of Fortuna Vera, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls and missed the break.

J.A. Powell, rider of Hugo's Girl, trained by Thomas Dowling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

106E Coolmore Auguste Rodin EBF Athasi Stakes

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Bint Queen Kindly, trained by D.K. Weld, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Chantez, trained by G.M. Lyons, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

106F Coolmore Irish EBF Mooresbridge Stakes

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Sunchart (GB), trained by Andrew Slattery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, A.J. Slattery, rider of Sunchart (GB), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not let himself down on todays ground.

106G PG Duffy & Sons Citroen Apprentice H'cap

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident inside the final furlong involving Clonmacash (GB), ridden by Aisling McGuinness, and Red Hugh O'Donnell, ridden by D.S. O'Sullivan, where it appeared Red Hugh O'Donnell ran up on heels. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

J.A. Powell, rider of Finsceal Annie, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was short of room at the furlong pole. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted

The Raceday Stewards interviewed D.J. O'Connor, rider of El Bello (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. D.J. O'Connor accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found D.J. O'Connor was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency), and considering his record in this regard (second offence) they suspended him for four racedays.

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Showhound (GB), trained by Daniel James Murphy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.J. O'Connor, rider of El Bello (GB), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was awkward leaving the stalls.
