The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

A.P.O'Brien, trainer of Cadamosto (Off Feed) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

A.J. Slattery replaced L.F. Roche on Cloch Liath, trained by D.J. Bunyan (Race 8)(Rider Admin Error)
G.M. Ryan replaced W.M. Lordan on Admiral Brown, trained by Henry de Bromhead (Race 8)(Injury)

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Muntahez, trained by Aidan Anthony Howard, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards informed Leonard Paul Flynn, trainer that Southwood, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Dark Kris trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in stalls.

S. Foley, rider of Uno Momento trained by Thomas Mullins, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

The Stewards received a report from Ms. N. O'Connor, M.V.B., Veterinary Officer, in relation to the behaviour of Mr. Daniel Dunne, Authorised Representative for Miss Katy Brown, towards her in the stable yard area. Evidence was heard from the Veterinary Officer, the Trainer and the Authorised Representative. Mr. Dunne departed the Stewards' Room prior to the conclusion of the inquiry. Having considered the report and also the behaviour of Mr. Dunne in the Stewards Room, as they could not conclude the enquiry the Stewards referred both matters to the Referrals Committee.

The Stewards requested a report from J.F. O'Shea, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Strategic Fortune, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that this is a tricky horse whose best form is on easy going. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.

063B Sean Barrett Bloodstock Stakes

S. Foley, rider of Real Force (GB) trained by Gerard O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was uncomfortable on the ground.

063D Cork Racecourse H'cap

D. McMonagle, rider of Logo Hunter trained by Michael J. Browne, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned left in the straight.

S. Foley, rider of Rosie Bassett (GB) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was restless in the stalls and jumped awkwardly.

063E Irish Stallion Farms EBF Noblesse Stakes

The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the straight involving Flor De La Luna (GB), ridden by S. Foley, placed 2nd, Haparanda, ridden by O.J. Orr, placed 4th and Yaxeni (FR), ridden by C.T. Keane, placed 3rd, where it appeared Flor De La Luna(GB) shifted left causing interference to Haparanda and Yaxeni (FR). Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. O.J. Orr stated that his instructions were to arrive late, as he did so he thought he'd win but suffered serious interference. C.T. Keane stated that he had to snatch up following serious interference and his mount did well to hold third place in the circumstances. S. Foley stated that his mount copped the stalls and cocked her jaw and veered left. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings and took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Princess Zoe (GER), trained by Anthony Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

S. Foley, rider of Flor De La Luna (GB) trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount leaned left throughout and ducked left at the stalls and starter's rostrum.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Comfort Line, ridden by D. McMonagle, Aiseirigh, ridden by K.J. Manning, Persian Queen, ridden by W.M. Lordan and Out On Friday, ridden by K.J. Leonard, where it appeared Comfort Line came down and Persian Queen unseated her rider. D. McMonagle reported that his mount clipped a heel and came down. K.J. Manning reported that his mount was struck into from behind coming down the straight. W.M. Lordon reported that he was brought down in the straight. K.J. Leonard reported that there was no movement from his horse and he felt he wasn't a factor. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the reports, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

K.J. Manning, rider of Aiseirigh trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was struck into from behind coming down the straight.

063G Racing Again Tomorrow M'dn

At the request of the Stewards, M.A. Enright, rider of Lovely Sheila (USA), trained by John E. Kiely, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was green early on, he had nowhere to go in the straight and ran on.

The Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn into the straight involving Hamidabad, ridden by O.J. Orr, and Prince Of Verona (USA), ridden by James J. Doyle, where it appeared Prince Of Verona(USA) had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. James J. Doyle stated that his mount was a big baby having his third run and just had to check. O.J. Orr stated that his mount was edging in behind the others and went slightly left for a tap down the shoulder. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.

W.J. Lee, rider of Whipsaw trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount needed to take a check a furlong down.

The Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Modus Operandi, ridden by J.A. Heffernan, and Whipsaw, ridden by W.J. Lee, where it appeared Whipsaw was forced to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J.A. Heffernan stated that his mount was having its second run and shifted right under a tap of the whip. W.J. Lee stated that he suffered some interference and had to take evasive action. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards took no further action.
