The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Noel G. Hynds, trainer of Epaulawn (off feed) - €200

129A Irish EBF Median Sires Series M'dn

L.T. McAteer, rider of Tomarlo (GB), trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount drifted right in the last furlong.

S. Foley, rider of Flash The Cash, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green.

Kate Harrington, Authorised Representative for Mrs John Harrington, trainer of Flash The Cash, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her charge was showing signs of being in season post race.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Kieran P. Cotter, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Gerrit's Gem, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Kieran P. Cotter stated that his charge got very upset in the Curragh the last day and ran around in the race. He further added that the application of first time blinkers helped him to concentrate and run a true race. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

L.T. McAteer, rider of Cuban Confusion (GB), trained by David Marnane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the last furlong.

S. Foley, rider of Lanzerac, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never let herself down on the ground.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Distillate (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the last furlong and a half.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Adrian McGuinness, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Distillate (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent form. Adrian McGuinness stated that the step up in trip coupled with the better ground may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Summer Snow, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

129E Blackwater Apprentice H'cap

P.A. Harnett, rider of The Bear Trap, trained by John Geoghegan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was carried right two furlongs out.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Share The Treasure, trained by T.Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around a bit inside the last furlong.

R. Whearty, rider of Crest Of The Moon, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Patrick Martin, trainer of Bruce Lightning, regarding the late arrival to the start having been last to leave the parade ring and then trotted all the way to the start when permission to leave the parade ring and go to the start early had previously been approved. Evidence was heard from the trainer concerned who stated that his charge wouldn't leave the stable in the stableyard and is a difficult horse to handle. He further added that they trotted him to the start as he is a very tricky horse and didn't want the jockey to have any problems. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards reminded Patrick Martin of his obligation under Rule 205(i) to have his charge at the start on time in future.

Amy Jo Hayes, rider of Grand Citadel, trained by Micky Fenton, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung across the track.

129F Mallow (Fillies) M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bloom Vega, trained by J.P. Murtagh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident in between the one furlong and two furlong markers involving Familiar Dreams (GB), ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed fourth, Sixandahalf, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed first, and Realt Na Ri, ridden by S. Foley, placed third, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

129G1 Racing Again June 14th H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Doctor Grace, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right under pressure.
