238B Buy Tickets Online H'capW.M. Lordan, rider of Babyface, trained by Edward Lynam, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't jump from the gates.
238C Ir. Stall. Farms Irish EBF Platinum StksThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dunum, trained by Natalia Lupini, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Transcending Glory, trained by J.P. Murtagh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jumbly (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
J.A. Heffernan, rider of Dunum, trained by Natalia Lupini, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount flattened out in the closing stages.
D. McMonagle, rider of Jumbly (GB), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
238D Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'capS. Foley, rider of Serialise, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right throughout.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Ms. Sheila Lavery, trainer of Anvika and Salah Belle, regarding the late arrival of the horses into the Parade Ring which contributed to a delayed off time. Evidence was heard from the trainer who stated that she had to wait for W.J. Lee to weigh out and he was held up doing interviews after winning the previous race. She further added that she had to tack up her two charges in the stableyard as they can be difficult. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted Ms. Sheila Lavery's explanation.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Mrs John Harrington, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Serialise, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Emma Doyle, Authorised Representative, stated that the filly was found to have been in season following her last run in Leopardstown on the 11th of July. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards ,using their powers under Rule 14(ii)(b), referred the matter on to a Senior Racing Official for further investigation.
238E Irish Stall Farms EBF Give Thanks StakesThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dancing Tango, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
D. McMonagle, rider of Dancing Tango, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident inside the final furlong involving Shamida, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed first, Lily Hart, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed third, and Mother Nature, ridden by W.M. Lordan, placed second, where it appeared Lily Hart got tight for room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
238F Irish Stallion Farms Irish EBF (F) M'dnW.J. Lee, rider of Elana Osario (GB), trained by P. Twomey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keen early.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Elana Osario (GB), trained by P. Twomey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
238G Follow Us On Social Media H'capW.J. Lee, rider of Keilah, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had no luck in running.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the back straight involving Hurricane Helen (GB), ridden by G.F. Carroll, Share The Treasure, ridden by R. Whearty, Spring Collection (GB), ridden by B.M. Coen, and Small Bucks, ridden by L.F. Roche where it appeared Hurricane Helen had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.F. Carroll stated he had to take a slight check due to pressure from his left. R. Whearty and L.F. Roche both said the received pressure from their left. B.M. Coen stated things got tight for a few strides until he took back. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.
238H Cork H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Jack Spriggins trained by J.P. Murtagh had blood at both nostrils post race.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the straight involving Bucaneer's Spirit, ridden by R.P. Whelan, placed first, and Trueba, ridden by R.M Mulligan, unplaced, where it appeared interference may have occurred. R.P. Whelan stated he was angling out for a run when making slight contact with Trueba. R.M. Mulligan stated he received a bump from his right. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found R.P. Whelan was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard (first offence), the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two raceday.
C.D. Hayes, rider of Campari Soda, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a little bump in the straight but it was of no consequence.
