The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

J.P. Shinnick rode Eastbank Warrior (reserve) trained by Jonathan Sweeney (Race 1)
K.E. Buckley rode Miss Vivacious (reserve) trained by Thomas Gibney (Race 4)

252A Adare Manor Opportunity M'dn H'dle

J. Aherne, rider of Im Here Now, trained by John Patrick Ryan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount went wrong after jumping.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Niall Moore, rider of One Big Boum, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Niall Moore was in breach of R.10.3(h)(arm above shoulder height) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.

252C Paddy Smyth Memorial (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kate Knows Best, trained by John Patrick Ryan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be distressed and lame on its right fore post race.

Sam Ewing, rider of Gina Moon, trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

252D On-Course Bookmakers H'cap Hdle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Le Grand Vert (FR), trained by J.P.Dempsey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

252E BoyleSports Best Odds Guaranteed S'chase

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Henry de Bromhead, trainer of Dancing On My Own, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with the provisions of Rule 90(i).

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Shane Fenelon, rider of Thunder, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Shane Fenelon was in breach of R.10.3(h)(arm above shoulder height) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.

252F Corrib Oil Beginners Schase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Joyeux Vivo (FR), trained by John E. & Thomas Kiely, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled its right fore shoe but was otherwise post race normal.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Meyo (GB), trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered by the loose horse.
