The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

R. Blackmore rode Ballybrack Wood (reserve), trained by Henry de Bromhead (Race 3)
M.M. McDonagh rode Fill The Tank (reserve), trained by Aengus King (Race 3)
A. Harvey rode Woodie Wango (reserve), trained by Rosemary Connors (Race 6)
G. Brouder replaced G.B. Noonan on Cottage Artist, trained by V.T. O'Brien (Race 7) (unwell)
C.M. Hogan replaced Miss A.L. Fitzgibbon on Shuil Senna, trained by Shane Nolan (Race 2) (unwell)

269A Kog Logistics 3-Y-O M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards received a report from Ms. P. Hassett, IHRB Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that S.W. Flanagan, rider of Set The Tone, weighed in at 1.3lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had a mouthful of water after weighing out. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S.W. Flanagan was in breach of Rule 231. Having considered his record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion.

269B Ir. Stall. Farms EBF (Mares) M'dn H'dle

Mr D. Doyle, rider of Beauforts Storm, trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped.

M.J.M. O'Sullivan, rider of Arctic Piper, trained by Patrick T. Foley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the third hurdle and jumped poorly thereafter.

269C Michael Cawe Susp. Ceilings H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards reviewed the start of this race where D. Meyler was unseated from his mount after the starter released the tape. Having viewed the recording of the start and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

C.L. Walsh, rider of Bronson In Blue, trained by Paul Mulligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered at the start and was later pulled up.

M.J.M. O'Sullivan, rider of Slieve Carran, trained by Patrick T. Foley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a cut and was pulled up.

C.M. Hogan, rider of Storm Mahler, trained by E. McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel and was pulled up. This was subsequently confirmed by an IHRB Veterinary Officer.

269F Lodge At Ashford Castle H'cap S'chase

The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Joe's Turn, trained by Mark Michael McNiff, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost its left fore shoe in running but was otherwise found to be post race normal.

269H OCL Laundry (Pro-Am) INH Flat Race

Mr C.J. Shine, rider of Eaglewood, trained by Leonard Paul Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left at the end of the back straight and had to check off heels. Having viewed a recording of the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied no further action was warranted.

Richard John O'Brien, trainer of Do Brazil (FR), reported to the Office of the IHRB that his charge was found to have an abnormal purulent nasal discharge post race which may have affected his performance.
