The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

Jessica Maye replaced Katelyn Bailey on Sam's Xpress, trained by Kieran P. Cotter (Race 1)(stewards permission)

034B Floodlit Fridays Dundalk Claiming Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Hightimeyouwon (GB), ridden by J. Kearney, placed first, Si Senior, ridden by J. Pietropaolo, unplaced, and Comfort Line, ridden by Adam Caffrey, placed second, where it appeared Si Senior had to check slightly. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. J. Pietropaolo stated that he didn't have the horse to fill the gap. Adam Caffrey stated that he kept a straight line. J. Kearney stated that as he passed Si Senior he rolled in a small bit but he was clear of him at the time. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

034C Put The Fun In Fundraising M'dn

Amy Jo Hayes, rider of Innkeeper, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount fly leaped from the gates.

034D William Hill Top Price Guarantee H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Master Garvey, trained by Joseph Anthony Murray, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

K.J. Leonard, rider of Circles, trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received pressure from the outside after one furlong.

J. Cleary, rider of Mullacash Buzz, trained by Thomas Dowling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he lost an iron on leaving the stalls.

J.M. Sheridan, rider of Master Garvey, trained by Joseph Anthony Murray, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was carried in after one furlong and also made an abnormal respiratory noise in running.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P.L. Malone, regarding the failure of A. Browne-Souza, rider of Senado Square, placed fifth to weigh in after this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had a quick glance at the board and didn't notice his name. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards using their powers under Rule 230(ii), disqualified Senado Square from fifth place. As a consequence, they amended the result to read as follows:

Second: Mullacash Buzz
Third: Pink Oxalis
Fourth: Jackandthefox
Fifth: Knockmore Prince
Sixth: Profit Surge

Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that A. Browne-Souza was in breach of Rule 227(i) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays and ordered him to forfeit his riding fee.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after leaving the stalls where it appeared J. Cleary rider of Mullacash Buzz had lost an iron and carried numerous horses across the track. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

034E Happy Valentines Day Rated Race

S. Coen, rider of Ohmyviette (FR), trained by W.P.Browne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right under pressure.

C.T. Keane, rider of Brigadier Kakuru, trained by Daniel James Murphy, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very keen early on.

J.A. Heffernan, rider of Unique Frequency, trained by Adrian Sexton, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount sustained an injury.
