The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Stand Staunch trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien was noted to have blood at both nostrils probably as a result of trauma.
At the request of the Stewards, D.F. O'Regan, rider of Helvic Princess (GB), trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount lost its footing and slipped up on the bottom bend when impeded by a loose horse galloping on his inner.
J.S. McGarvey, rider of Mystery Show trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered at the first hurdle.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Alice Kitty trained by Mrs Denise Foster was noted to have an overreach on the right pastern, a right shoulder contusion and skin wound and furthermore had blood at the left nostril probably as a result of trauma.

The Stewards fined Martin Brassil, trainer, €65 for failing to fit cheek pieces to Glenquin Castle, prior to entering the parade ring.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cailean's Angel, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have blood at both nostrils as a result of exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and furthermore had lost a right fore shoe.
P.T. Enright, rider of Blustery trained by Robert Tyner, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly and was pulled up.
