The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

301A Arkle Bar Median Auction M'dn

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jacks Inn, trained by Andrew Slattery, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

301B Slane Nursery H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined West Of Wichita, trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sanshiro, trained by D.J. Bunyan & G. O'Leary, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Sanshiro, trained by D.J. Bunyan & G. O'Leary, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was keen early and was a difficult ride.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed K.G. Kennedy, rider of Glamorously, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. K.G. Kennedy accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found that K.G. Kennedy was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.

301C Book Discounted Tickets Apprentice H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approximately two furlongs from the finish involving Conversant, ridden by R. Whearty, Merisi Diamond, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, Sense Of Security (GB), ridden by S.P. Bird, and Clarinbridge, ridden by Sorcha Woods where Meresi Diamond appeared to clip a heel and fall. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. Stone-Walsh stated that his mount was running green when he felt pressure from both sides and clipped a heel. S.P. Bird stated that the whole field was beginning to bunch together at this point in the race. R. Whearty stated that he did not feel he contributed to the incident. Sorcha Woods stated that she was beaten and retreating through the field but feels she did not contribute to the incident. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Merisi Diamond, trained by Ms. Joanna Morgan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room and clipped a heel.

301D Navan Racing Festival Early Bird H'cap

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Edward Lynam, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Heavenly Power, placed first, as compared with its most recent form. Edward Lynam, trainer, stated that a drop in trip and the horse settling better on this occasion may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form today. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

301F Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident a furlong after the start involving Fratas, ridden by W. Joyce, placed first, Signora Bellissima, ridden by B.M. Coen, unplaced, and Drop The Dip, ridden by G.M. Ryan, placed fourth, where it appeared that Drop The Dip ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. G.M. Ryan stated that he got pressure from his outside after a furlong which caused him to check. B.M. Coen stated that after a slow start his mount began to run keen after he received a bump from his inside. W. Joyce stated that he wanted to go forward from his wide draw and thought he was clear as he came across. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found W. Joyce was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended him for four racedays.

C.T. Keane, rider of Perfect Poise, trained by G.M.Lyons, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right in the home straight.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Drop The Dip, trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was short of room after a furlong.

301G1 The Yellow Furze H'cap

Adam Caffrey, rider of Grann's Boy, trained by H.Rogers, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lugged slightly left in the home straight.

C.J. MacRedmond, rider of Anycity, trained by J.Larkin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Ms. Sheila Lavery, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Solar Breeze, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Ms. Sheila Lavery, trainer, stated that a drop in grade, an increase in trip and also that she broke much better than on her last run had helped to contribute to the apparent improvement in form today. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pollanassa, trained by R.P.Cody, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

301G2 The Yellow Furze H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Stay Local, trained by Aidan Anthony Howard, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

D. McMonagle, rider of Upepo, trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount reared up as the stalls opened.
