R.P. Whelan, rider of Astral Beat, trained by Lee Smyth, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount dived left out of the stalls.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into the fall of Emma Anne Murphy who was unseated from Californiagoldrush on the run to the home turn. Evidence was heard from Emma Anne Murphy who stated that she clipped a heel. Having considered the evidence and viewed a recording of the race, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
The Raceday Stewards received a report from Andrew Ring, Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that Adam Caffrey, rider of Zig Zag Zyggy, weighed in at 1.2 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, Adam Caffrey accepted he was in breach and apologised for his actions. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Adam Caffrey was in breach of Rule 231 and in considering his record in this regard they suspended him for two racedays.
304B Gateway Hotel Dundalk Race & Stay RaceW.J. Lee, rider of The Highway Rat, trained by A. Oliver, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
304E Irish Stallion Farms EBF StarAppeal StksThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kairyu, trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rising Sign (GB), trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
W.J. Lee, rider of Making Time, trained by Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount drifted left close to the line.
304F Michael Cooney Memorial M'dnR.P. Whelan, rider of Shanadar, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was running keen and that he clipped a heel after a couple of furlongs from the start. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the footage and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
