The Stewards fined David Kenneth Budds, trainer, €65 for failing to fit the declared head gear to Here For The Craic, prior to entering the parade ring.

The Stewards interviewed D.J. McInerney, rider of Mr Lombardi, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that D.J. McInerney was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they suspended him for 3 racedays.

The Stewards interviewed Mr Peter Jay Kavanagh, rider of Banogue's Bonus, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr Peter J Kavanagh was in breach of both Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and 10.3(i)(time to respond). Having taken his previous record in this regard into account, the Stewards suspended him for 2 racedays.

168E1 Churchfield H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Celine Soprano, trained by Patrick Cronin, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

168E2 Churchfield H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Seaboard, trained by Emmet Mullins, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have bilateral nasal discharge and to be stiff behind post race. Samples were taken for analysis.

P.T. Enright, rider of Wildewood trained by Patrick Breen, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped poorly.

The Stewards requested a report from S.W. Flanagan, rider of Lopito (GB) who fell on the flat rounding the bend into the home straight. The rider reported that his mount appeared to stumble and fall independently for no apparent reason. Having viewed a recording of the incident and considered the report, the Stewards took no further action.

168F Pencil Hill H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed Mr P.W. Mullins, rider of Pilbara (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr P.W. Mullins was in breach of both Regulation 10.3(i)(time to respond) and 10.3(f)(force)and having considered his record they suspended him for 1 raceday.

168G Fermoy (Fillies) INH Flat Race

The Stewards interviewed Mr M.C. O'Donovan, rider of That's Lifebuoy, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Mr M.C. O'Donovan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record they suspended him for 3 racedays.
