The Stewards interviewed Mr M.C. O'Donovan, rider of Naturally Blond, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found Mr. M. C. O'Donovan in breach of Regulation 10.3 (g), excessive frequency. Having considered Mr. M. C. O'Donovan's record in this regard the Stewards suspended Mr. M. C. O'Donovan for three racedays.

156C2 Tramore H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pak Army, trained by J.R. Barry, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have superficial wounds on its left hind but to be otherwise post race normal.

156D Waterford (Mares) H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cornerkova, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Cornerkova trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that her mount stopped very quickly and was pulled up.

156E Newtown Cove Beginners S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Dommage Pour Toi (FR), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal.

156F Dunmore East H'cap S'chase

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of My First Symphony trained by Patrick Cronin, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his saddle slipped early on.
