The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined All About Joe, trained by C.A.Murphy, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have skin abrasions to his right fore leg and also lame post race.
054B WKD Rated H'dleThe Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn before two out involving The Very Man, ridden by L.P. Dempsey, Kasakh Noir (FR), ridden by L.A. McKenna, and Jimmy Two Times, ridden by Mr D.G. Lavery, where it appeared Kashakh Noir (FR) ran short of room on the inner and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found that the incident was caused by accidental interference and took no further action.
054C Racing TV H'cap H'dleThe Stewards interviewed N.P. Madden, rider of Kilmurry, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account cautioned him on this occasion.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Accidental Rebel (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to have skin abrasions to his right foreleg but was otherwise post race normal.
054D Randox Ulster National H'cap S'chaseRachael Blackmore, rider of Cheb De Kerviniou (FR) trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount never travelled.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Cheb De Kerviniou (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
054E Tote Supporting Downpatrick H'cap SchaseThe Stewards requested a report from Niall Madden, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Golden Sunset (GB), placed first, as compared with its most recent run. The trainer reported that other than this horse seemed to find the ground too quick at Leopardstown he couldn't offer an explanation for the return to form today. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
054F Boardsmill Sires M'dn Hunters S'chaseThe Stewards interviewed Mr C.A. Hughes, rider of Castlebawn, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(f)(force) and (g)(frequency) and having taken his record into account suspended him for 7 race days and also advised him to familiarise himself with the rules.
054G Molson Coors (Pro-Am) INH Flat RaceG.P. Brouder, rider of I Don't Get It trained by Neill McCluskey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left all the way.
