The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

T. Power Roche rode Coastguard Lady (reserve) trained by P.J. Rothwell (Race 8).
C.P. McNamara rode Gaelic Des Chastys (FR) (reserve) trained by E. McNamara (Race 8)
T. Power Roche replaced J.P. O'Sullivan on Coastguard Lady, trained by P.J. Rothwell (Race 8)(stewards permission).

211B Tom McCormack Memorial Cup M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Avalo, trained by Peter Fahey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the first circuit involving Silent Dawn, ridden by Eoin G. Kelly, unplaced, where it appeared he had to check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

211C1 Massey Ferguson Farm Equip. H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Divilabother, trained by Thomas Coyle, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Aill Dubh, trained by M. Flannery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

A. Harvey, rider of Divilabother, trained by Thomas Coyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right on the first circuit.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend past the stands on the first circuit involving Junot, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, placed fifth, Fort Randall, ridden by P. Hanlon, placed sixth, Divilabother, ridden by A. Harvey, unplaced, and Slaney Bank, ridden by A.P. Kelly, unplaced, where it appeared numerous horses came close together. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D.J. O'Keeffe stated that he felt pressure from both sides and things just got tight momentarily. P. Hanlon stated that he was clipping heels with the horse in front of him and briefly lugged left. A.P. Kelly stated that he just got bumped around for a couple of strides. A. Harvey stated that his mount was marginally hanging right and it just got tight on the point of the bend. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from E.Seymour, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Ixigreczed (FR), placed first, as compared with its recent form. E. Seymour reported that they left the hood off today and also travelled her with a travel companion which helped her settle better. This may have contributed to the improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.

211D Tote H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mr Dibbs, trained by Adrian Murray, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined My Policy, trained by Patrick Rooney, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Lodilomoco trained by John Patrick Ryan was suffering from heat stress post race.

211E Hurley Family M'dn H'dle

B. Hayes, rider of Rule The Wind, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Relham Place trained by Leonard Paul Flynn was found to have blood at its right nostril post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Rule The Wind, at the request of trainer, W.P. Mullins, and reported the animal to be clinically abnormal post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Slieve Carran trained by Patrick T. Foley was found to have an overreach to its front leg.

211F Jim Ryan Racecourse Services H'cap S'ch

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Pakens Rock, trained by Barry T. Murphy, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Marelly, trained by P.J. Rothwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Pakens Rock, trained by Barry T. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

211G MJS Building & Development H'cap S'ch

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the direction taken by the field after bypassing an injured horse at the back of fence two. Evidence was heard from D.E. Mullins, rider of Father Jed, unplaced, and Clerk Of The Course, Mr. Brendan Sheridan. D.E. Mullins stated that he felt he was the only rider who completed the course properly. Mr. Brendan Sheridan stated that there was a turn out after the fence provided for when a horse falls and that the fence was to be bypassed down the hurdle course. Having considered all the evidence, the Raceday Stewards decided that in the absence of a gate or post at the turnout, no incorrect course was taken by any rider. Furthermore, they confirmed the Judges placings and took no further action.

G.B. Noonan, rider of Justakeg, trained by V. T. O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.
