S.D. Torrens replaced Sam Ewing on Cailin Aibrean, trained by Peter Fahey (Race 5)(stood down)

221A Mallow (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Ballinvir Rose trained by Ms.M.Flynn was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

R.A. Doyle, rider of Inch Alainn, trained by W.J. Burke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the fifth last.

A.M. King, rider of Ballinvir Rose, trained by Ms.M.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel and pulled up.

P.T. Enright, rider of Johanna Yeats, trained by Brendan Maurice Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

M.P. O'Connor, rider of The Border Boy, trained by Sean Aherne, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount weakened turning in.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Glorious Singer, trained by Ms.M.Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the fourth last.

221F Kanturk H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Harley Street, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Sainte Baol (FR) trained by Gordon Elliott was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Sainte Baol (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount bled from the nostrils and pulled up.

J.J. Slevin, rider of Rushford (GB), trained by Thomas R. Hughes, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount burst a blood vessel and pulled up. The IHRB Veterinary Officer subsequently confirmed the animal had blood at both nostrils post race.

221G Racing Again August 16th INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr J. Kidd, rider of Mrs Mc Go, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr J. Kidd was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for three racedays.
