295A NewKey Homes Ltd. Nursery H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Let It Linger, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had to take a check on the bend. The Raceday stewards subsequently reviewed this incident and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident early in the home straight involving Escorpio, ridden by N.M. Crosse, unplaced, and Hes Bullet Proof, ridden by W. Joyce, unplaced, where it appeared Escorpio struck the rail. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. N.M. Crosse stated that he was out the back for a brief period, he had enough room and took a precautionary check. W. Joyce stated that his mount ran wide off the bend and as he returned to his original position, his mount started to tire and he was slower than he had expected getting to the rail. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

295B KC Shipping (Fillies) M'dn

M.W Hassett, rider of Miss Tapley, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right throughout.

295C Bluegrass Horse Feeds H'cap

J.A. Powell, rider of Finsceal Annie, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Seven Eleven (GB), trained by J.F. Levins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the first bend.

295D Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Alyse Jane Clarke, rider of The Bog Bank, concerning her use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Alyse Jane Clarke apologised for her actions and accepted that she was in breach of the whip regulations. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that she was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency), R.10.3(c)(unnessary use) and R.10.3(i)(time to respond) and having considered her record in all regards, they suspended her for 12 racedays.

295E Dickie McGuinness H'cap

M.W Hassett, rider of Turn Up The Beat (GB), trained by David Richard Barry, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mounts bit broke in the stalls and it was replaced.

S. Foley, rider of Coolcalmncollected (GB), trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Aidan Coleman, Authorised Represetative for Kevin Thomas Coleman, trainer, to explain why his charge arrived at the start without the correct hood as declared beneath a red removable hood and was subsequently withdrawn by order of the Raceday Stewards. Aiden Coleman stated that a hood was declared in error and it was the trainers intention that his charge would wear the removable hood to the start. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that the trainer was in breach of Rule 194(e) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion through his Authorised Representative.

Alyse Jane Clarke, rider of Only A Star, trained by T.G.McCourt, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount hung right throughout.

295G1 Mary Rogers Memorial H'cap

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the top of the hill involving Numidia, ridden by P. McGettigan, Grann's Boy, ridden by Adam Caffrey, and Vierson, ridden by S. Foley, where it appeared Vierson ran short of room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P. McGettigan and Adam Caffrey felt they kept their racing line. S. Foley stated that he had a gap in front of him but felt his mount shied away from filling it and he took a check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

S. Foley, rider of Vierson, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight for room at the top of the straight.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Noble Andy, trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left from the top of the straight.

295G2 Mary Rogers Memorial H'cap

S. Foley, rider of Saxon Land, trained by Ciaran Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount didn't handle the ground.
