The Stewards fined the following trainer in respect of their non-runner:-

Kieran P. Cotter, trainer of Aleppo Pepper (off feed) - €200

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Zambales (GB), trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

M.W Hassett, rider of Oxford Rock, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount drifted left off the bridle.

N.G. McCullagh, rider of Twinkling Toes, trained by Charles Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stumbled out of the gates.

Charles Weld, trainer of Twinkling Toes, reported to the Office of the IHRB that his charge was found to be in season post race.

278B Kilberry H'cap

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Only Spoofing, trained by Kevin Thomas Coleman, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

278C Navan Racecourse H'cap

N.M. Crosse, rider of Bella Colombia, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stood in the stalls and was slowly away.

K.G. Kennedy, rider of Cornahilt Soldier, trained by Kevin Michael Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left up the straight.

278D Navan Festival November 16 & 17 (F) M'dn

N.M. Crosse, rider of Liltia (GB), trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got tight at the furlong pole and had to switch back out. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

L.F. Roche, rider of Sidiza, trained by D. K. Weld, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away, green throughout and hung left in the straight.

278E Navan H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed L.F. Roche, rider of Plunkett Street (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that L.F. Roche was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays.

278F Enjoy Hospitality Navan Racecourse M'dn

G.M. Ryan, rider of Soul Of Spain, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount clipped a heel at the second bend. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Tiding (GB), trained by D. K. Weld, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Realt Na Ri, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got upset in the stalls.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms. P. Hassett, that M. Crehan, rider of Double Agent, weighed in 1.2lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he had half a cup of tea and sweat absorbed to his already heavy pad may have accounted for the overweight. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that M. Crehan was in breach of Rule 231(iii) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they cautioned him on this occasion.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Gavin Cromwell, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Robbies Rock (GB), placed first, as compared with its most recent run. Gavin Cromwell reported that the better ground and application of a first time tongue tie may have contributed to the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given.
