The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

P.M.J.Doyle, trainer of Stumblin In (off feed) - €200
Thomas Gibney, trainer of Leave In Secret (late withdrawal) - €200

249A Laurels Bar & Restaurant M'dn H'dle

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a 2 minute delay to this race

J.W. Kennedy, rider of Chally Chute, trained by M. Halford & T. Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount landed awkwardly at the back of a few hurdles and weakened in the straight.

B. Hayes, rider of Mr Escobar, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran out at the first hurdle.

J.G. Gilligan, rider of Itsalladream, trained by Paul John Gilligan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from W.P. Mullins, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Where's My Jet, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Rachael Robins, Authorised Rep for the trainer reported that a drop back in trip and a change of tactics today brought about the improvement. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a 1 minute delay to this race

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from P.G. Fahey, Trainer of Boskill Borden for an additional 10 minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with Rule 90(i).

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Darren Collins, Trainer of Ask Cillian for an additional 10 minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with Rule 90(i).

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident rounding the bottom bend involving Coffeys Forge, ridden by P.K. Donovan, Smallcraftwarning, ridden by T.P. Harney, A Nod To Getaway, ridden by T. Power Roche, and Opera Point, ridden by J. Aherne, where it appeared A Nod To Getaway, ran slightly short of room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

249C Bunkers Bar & Restaurant H'cap H'dle

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a 2 minute delay to this race

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms A. O'Keeffe regarding the failure of C.M. Hogan rider of Falco Blitz, placed sixth to weigh in after this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he felt he had finished well back in the field and wasn't required to weigh in. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards using their powers under Rule 230(ii), disqualified Falco Blitz from sixth place. Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion C.M. Hogan was in breach of Rule 227(i) and having considered his record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays and ordered him to forfeit his riding fee.

K. Callaghan, rider of Early Arrival, trained by James M. Barcoe, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped poorly.

249D Killarney Park Hotel Beginners S'chase

Following a request from broadcasters, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for a 2 minute delay to this race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the second fence where it appeared Artic Fly went left after take off jumping through the birch upright and rubbing the wing. Evidence was heard from P. Townend who stated that his mount gave him no warning on take off that she was going to jump left. P. Townend also added that he was satisfied he had taken the correct course and that he was inconvenienced by the mistake. Having considered the matter and heard the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that, as per Regulation 9, Artic Fly had remained on the correct side of the bundle of birch at the commencement of the rail to determine the correct course approaching the fence and jumped inside the wing of the fence. They were therefore satisfied that no further action was warranted.

P. Townend, rider of Arctic Fly, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped left at the second fence.

249E Killarney Avenue Novice S'chase

Rachael Blackmore, rider of Easy Fella, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount finished the race lame which resulted in her not returning to the winners enclosure.
