G.B. Noonan, rider of Tipp For Mac, trained by Thomas Cooper, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake which resulted in a issue with his reins and he had to pull up.
John Patrick Ryan, trainer of Western Comandor, reported to the the I.H.R.B. veterinary officer that his charge had blood at both nostrils post race.
218B Kenny Galway H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr R.W. Barron, rider of My Design, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of the whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Evidence was also from the IHRB Veterinary Officer. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. R.W. Barron was in breach of R10.3(g)(frequency)and R10.3.(f)(force) and having considered his record, they suspended him for 11 racedays.
The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Pure Sirloin, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have a superficial abrasion to its left fore fetlock and a wound to its right fore coronary band.
S.W. Flanagan, rider of Pure Sirloin, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the second last hurdle.
218C Eileen Kelly Memorial S'chaseThe IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Andy Dufresne, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard post race.
218D Lord Hemphill Memorial H'cap S'chaseP. Townend, rider of Hubrisko (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a kick at the start, felt sound but stopped quickly.
The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Hubrisko (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be have a haematoma on its right fore elbow and abrasions to its right fore cannon.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from J.P. Dempsey, trainer, following the winning performance of Fighting Fit (GB) in this race, which appeared to represent an improvement on it’s previous runs. J.P. Dempsey stated that Fighting Fit had pulled up the last day after jumping poorly in what was his first run back after a fall. The trainer felt that he may have lost his confidence a bit so he gave Fighting Fit a break and freshened him up and felt this may have helped bring about today's apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the contents.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed R.P. Geoghegan, rider of Sole Pretender who sustained an injury before the turn for home. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he felt his mount was not moving correctly at the time but was unaware the injury was as serious as it turned out to be. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that R.P. Geoghegan was in breach of Rule 216(ii)(a) and Rule 216(iii) by failing to pull up and dismount a lame or injured horse as soon as reasonably possible to do so. Having considered his record, the Raceday Stewards suspended R.P. Geoghegan for 50 racedays.
218E Irish Stallion Farms EBF 'Ahonoora' HcapJ. Kearney, rider of Coachello (FR), trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran keenly early on.
C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Hotrocket, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount met with interference at the start of the hill.
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Snapraeterea, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away.
W.J. Lee, rider of Dunum, trained by Natalia Lupini, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he momentarily lost his reins turning in.
B.M. Coen, rider of Soaring Monarch, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very tight for room turning in and clipped a heel.
D. McMonagle, rider of Joe Masseria, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not get a run.
N.M. Crosse, rider of All Lies Ahead, trained by W. McCreery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount had no luck in running.
J.A. Powell, rider of No More Porter, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount suffered interference at the start of the hill.
The IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Current Option, trained by Adrian McGuinness, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have pulled a shoe and to be sore on its right fore as a result. Skin abrasions were also found on its left fore knee post race.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident on the bend into the straight involving Hotrocket, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, unplaced, Master Matt (GB), ridden by S. Foley, unplaced, Percy's Lad (GB), ridden by J.A. Heffernan, unplaced, Soaring Monarch, ridden by B.M. Coen, unplaced, and No More Porter, ridden by J.A. Powell, placed sixth, where it appeared Soaring Monarch clipped a heel after getting tight for room. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C. Stone-Walsh stated he checked when the runners bunched in front of him. S. Foley stated that he was taking back as his race was run and he was receiving pressure from both sides. J.A. Heffernan stated he was back pedaling when he received pressure from both sides. B.M. Coen stated that his mount clipped a heel after receiving interference. J.A. Powell stated that it was tight all around him and he felt he left room on the inside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found J.A. Powell was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record in this regard, the Raceday Stewards cautioned him on this occasion.
G.F. Carroll, rider of Earls, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung in on top of the horse beside him but he corrected him as soon as possible. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the video evidence and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Romford, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ducked at the road crossing.
218H Fr. Breen Memorial (P-Am) INH Flat RaceMr P. Hanlon, rider of Fort Randall, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not like the ground.
