The Raceday Stewards interviewed W.J. Lee, rider of Brown Eagle, concerning his use of the whip in the home straight of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. W.J. Lee accepted that he was in breach and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found W.J. Lee in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard they cautioned him on this occasion.
197B Irish EBF Median Sires Series RaceD. McMonagle, rider of Nor Time Nor Tide, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned left under pressure.
197C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (C & G) M'dnThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the final one hundred and fifty yards involving Genuine Article (GB), ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed first, Simpson's Paradox, ridden by S. Foley, placed second, and Toll Stone, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third, where it appeared W.J. Lee had to take a check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. In his evidence W.J. Lee stated that the two leaders rolled left close to the finish forcing him to take a check. S. Foley stated that his mount was tiring when he rolled slightly left close to the finish. C.D. Hayes stated that his mount leaned left in the final one hundred and fifty yards but felt he corrected him quickly. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.
S. Foley, rider of Simpson's Paradox, trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left under pressure.
W.J. Lee, rider of Toll Stone, trained by K.J. Condon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he took a check approximately one hundred yards from the finish.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on the first bend where it appeared that Any Dream Will Do, ridden by N.M. Crosse, ran short of room forcing him to take a check. Having viewed the recording of the incident, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Mea Domina (FR), trained by P. Twomey, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
197E1 The Rose Hotel H'capThe Raceday Stewards interviewed I. Khan, rider of Lucky Queen, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. I. Khan accepted he was in breach and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that I. Khan was in breach of R.10.3(g) (frequency) and R.10.3(i)(time to respond) and considering his record in this regard they suspended him for ten racedays.
J.A. Powell, rider of Trueba, trained by Edmond Daniel Linehan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped before the bottom bend.
J.M. Sheridan, rider of General Idea (GB), trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount met with interference after two furlongs. The Racedays Stewards reviewed the incident and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
197E2 The Rose Hotel H'capD.W. O'Connor, rider of Chimeric, trained by J.F. Levins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly right from two furlongs out.
D.P. McDonogh, rider of Golden Freckle, trained by T.J. O'Mara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got squeezed in the final furlong.
R.P. Whelan, rider of Lisabetta, trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no clear run.
N.M. Crosse, rider of Purring Along, trained by S.M.Duffy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right up the straight.
C.D. Hayes, rider of Wrist Art, trained by Timothy Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got no clear run in the final furlong.
J.A. Heffernan, rider of Rose Of Malta, trained by P.F.O'Donnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was running very free when he had to switch out right off heels on the approach to the first bend. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the incident and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

C.D. Hayes, rider of Hello Power, trained by D.J. Bunyan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung both ways during this race.
197G Every Race Live On Racing TV H'capA.J. Slattery, rider of Chutzpal, trained by Eoin Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount clipped heels soon after the start. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the start and were of the opinion that the incident was caused by Londonofficecallin going right from stall thirteen but were satisfied that no riding offence had occured and therefore took no further action.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Belgoprince (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the home straight of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. J.J.G. Ryan accepted that he was in breach and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that J.J.G. Ryan was in breach of R.10.3(h) (The use of the whip with the arm above shoulder height) and considering his record in this regard they suspended him for four racedays.
