141B Pickerdstown H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Bearwithmenow, trained by J.P. Flavin, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

G.B. Noonan, rider of Quarry Lil, trained by Paul O'Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the ground.

P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Trickey Trix, trained by Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Trickey Trix, at the request of trainer, Dermot Anthony McLoughlin, and reported the animal to be post race normal.

141C Visit West Waterford M'dn H'dle

S. O'Callaghan, rider of Fair Damsel, trained by Richard Brabazon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very novicey.

141D Comeragh Wildlife Park H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Huit Reflets (FR), trained by Liz Doyle, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, P.K. Donovan, rider of Flyaway Maggie, trained by M. Flannery, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount went lame and was pulled up.

141E Copper Coast M'dn H'dle

Owing to the low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle number four to be omitted from this race.

A.P. Kelly, rider of Copper Coast, trained by W.J. Burke, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake at the second last and was pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Calazure, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame on his right fore post race.

141F Annestown H'cap H'dle

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Talk Of The Town, trained by Peter John Flood, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a couple of bad mistakes.

Owing to low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle number four to be omitted from this race.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Thomas Gibney, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Story Rory, placed first, as compared to its recent form. Thomas Gibney reported that a combination of a drop in grade and faster ground conditions on this occasion had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Aide De Camp, trained by Robert Widger, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

141G Ir. Stall. Farms EBF (M) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into the falls of Marvel Star, ridden by Mr T. Hamilton and Dukeboxjenny, ridden by Mr J.W. Hendrick, who both fell on the flat in this race approximately four furlongs from the finish. Mr J.W. Hendrick stated that his mount sustained an injury which caused it to fall. Mr T. Hamilton stated that his mount became disunited when avoiding Dukeboxjenny and stumbled thereafter causing his mount to fall. Having considered the matter and viewed a recording of the incident, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
