D. McMonagle, rider of Summer Is Tomorrow, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a check at the furlong pole.
P.A. Harnett, rider of Elora Prince, trained by Kieran P. Cotter, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green in the middle part of the race and he dropped his reins in the straight.
C.D. Hayes, rider of Invincible Rocket, trained by Gavin Cromwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got hampered leaving the backstraight, entering the home straight and had to check both times.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Summer Is Tomorrow, ridden by D. McMonagle, placed fifth, and Elora Prince, ridden by P.A. Harnett, placed sixth, where it appeared Summer Is Tomorrow ran short of room momentarily. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. D. McMonagle stated that he wasn't in the gap when Elora Prince crossed over but he ended up running into the back of him. P.A. Harnett stated that he dropped his reins but corrected his mount as soon as he could. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident leaving the backstraight involving Echo Of Faith, ridden by S. Foley, placed fourth, Elora Prince, ridden by P.A. Harnett, placed sixth, and Invincible Rocket, ridden by C.D. Hayes, unplaced, where it appeared C.D. Hayes had to check. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.D. Hayes stated that it got congested on the point of the bend. S. Foley stated that he didn't contribute to the incident. P.A. Harnett stated that his mount was very green and shied away from the horse on his outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
Kate Harrington, authorised representative for Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that Echo Of Faith was found to have mucus in its lungs following endoscopic examination post race..
146D Coco At The Arcade RaceThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Nobler (GER) trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien was found to be a gelding and not a colt as shown on the passport presented. Having considered the report, the Raceday Stewards fined the trainer €130 in accordance with the provisions of Rule 148(xii).
Prior to the start of this race, the Clerk of the Course changed the going to good, good to yielding in places.
M.W Hassett, rider of Nobler (GER), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slow out of the stalls.
146E James Collins Memorial H'capM.W Hassett, rider of Liamo, trained by Brendan Maurice Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount broke slow from the stalls.
The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the closing stages involving Distillate (GB), ridden by Adam Caffrey, unplaced, Cu Chulainn (GB), ridden by J.A. Heffernan, placed fourth, and Browned Off, ridden by L.T. McAteer, placed sixth, where it appeared Adam Caffrey had to sit momentarily. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Adam Caffrey stated that he didn't have the horse to fill the gap and had to take a precautionary check. J.A. Heffernan stated that his mount shifted left but was clear at that point. L.T. McAteer stated that he kept a relatively straight line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
146F Lane Family Memorial H'capThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Autumn Twist, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
S.T. McCullagh, rider of The Dubliner (FR), trained by Colm Ryan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
J.A. Heffernan, rider of Chatterbox, trained by John Joseph Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was forced to come a little wider than ideal for a run.
146G Acro Fire & Safety (QR) RaceThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Sorrentino, ridden by Miss J. Townend, placed second, and Toto Too, ridden by Mr A.P. Ryan, placed fifth, where it appeared interference may have occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Miss J. Townend stated that there was sufficient room and as she went for the gap Toto Too came in towards her. Mr A.P. Ryan stated that he held his racing line. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action due to the contour of the track.
