Levins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was racing on an all weather surface for the first time and he did not appear to be happy on it. Furthermore he hung in running and in his opinion his mount would be more suited to a soft surface.

C.J. MacRedmond, rider of War Hero trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was outpaced during this race.
