The Stewards interviewed D.J. Mullins, rider of Barnaviddaun, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that D.J. Mullins was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record, they cautioned him on this occasion.
J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Happie Days trained by Thomas Gibney, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled and was pulled up.

314E BETDAQ 0% Commission Super Sat. Hcp S'chThe Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P.L. Malone, that Mr. C.W. McCormack, rider of Rolling Revenge, had presented himself to weigh out at 3lbs overweight, none of which was declared at declaration time. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards allowed the overweight on this occasion having consulted with Thomas Coyle, trainer of Rolling Revenge. The Stewards were, however, satisfied that Mr. C.W. McCormack was in breach of both Rule 195 and Rule 198 and having considered his record, they issued a fine of €150 on this occasion.
Owing to the trajectory of the Sun, the Stewards granted permission for fence numbers 5,6 and 7 to be omitted from this race.

Cooper, placed first, Opposites Attract, ridden by C.D. Maxwell, placed third and School Boy Hours, ridden by M.P. Walsh, placed second, where it appeared interference had occurred. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge's placings. They Stewards were, however, satisfied that B.J. Cooper was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having considered his record, they suspended him for 1 raceday.
314G BETDAQ Casino INH Flat RaceThe Stewards reviewed an incident before turning for home where it appeared Montrose Ave, ridden by Mr B. Lawless, struck the running rail. Having viewed a recording of the incident, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
