The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Crimson Chief, trained by J. Morrison, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

H. Morgan, rider of Riviera Sun trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount never travelled during this race.

The Stewards received a report from Dr Lynn Hillyer, I.H.R.B Veterinary Officer, in relation to the identity of Lucky Mary T trained by Mrs D.A. Love. Evidence was heard from Dr Hillyer and Mrs D.A. Love. Having considered the report, the Stewards were satisfied that the animal presented today did not correspond with the markings contained in the passport of Lucky Mary T. In accordance with the provisions of Rule 90 (iv) the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Lucky Mary T and referred the matter to a Senior Racing Official for investigation.
