The Drogheda Memorial Fund is a registered racing Charity administered by the Turf Club. Founded in 1852 by the Earl of Drogheda to aid and assist those who found themselves in difficult circumstances. Currently the fund has 30 recipients on its books and in order to keep it viable it requires substantial funding annually.
In the past we have been very fortunate to receive donations to help the Fund continue, but in the present climate these have diminished somewhat, and so the Committee and Management are turning to you to help retain the Fund for those badly in need of our help.
With this in mind, the Committee, under the watchful eye of Michael Grassick (trainer) & Jimmy Lenehan (Derrinstown Stud), have undertaken to run a Golf Day to try and raise needy funds whilst improving the profile of the fund.
So how can you help? We are looking for teams to take part in this great fun day.
