015A Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Mares Maiden Hurdle & The Stewards fined Mr. Lorcan Joseph Donnelly, trainer, €130 for lodging a passport in respect of Thelittleblackmare in which the vaccinations did not conform with the provisions of Rule 91. The Stewards allowed the horse to run on receipt of the trainer’s written assurance that the vaccinations were in order.
015B I.N.H. Stallion Owners European Breeders Fund Maiden Hurdle & The Stewards received a report from D.J. Casey, rider, regarding his riding of The Shoe Doctor, placed third in this race.
The rider reported that his mount ran well on his racecourse debut at Navan but followed this with a poor performance at Leopardstown. Under instruction from the trainer today, he said he settled his mount towards the rear in a race run at a good pace and waited until the top of the hill to chase the field of runners. However, while his mount passed tiring horses which had been in contention, the winner stayed on too well. He said that, in his opinion, his mount kept on at the finish because he did not chase the horse along up the hill. He concluded by saying that his mount would have been suited by today’s distance and ground.
015C www.limerickraces.com Handicap Hurdle & P.T. Enright, rider of Gortnagros, trained by Mr. John J. Walsh, reported to a Turf Club Official that his mount never travelled on today’s ground.
015E Greenmount Beginners Steeplechase & The Stewards granted permission for fence number three to be omitted from this race and from the Greenmount Conference Centre Handicap Steeplechase due to ground conditions.
The Stewards received a report from P.T Enright, rider, regarding his riding of Pocketfullapennies, placed sixth in this race.
The rider reported that his mount was returning from a fourteen month layoff today and was ridden to try and finish in the testing ground. He added that his mount carried him until he blew up across the top of the track. He said that from thereon he held his mount together to allow the animal a chance to get a breather. He said that, on jumping the second last fence, he knew all chance was gone and did not subject the horse to any hard riding. He concluded by saying that he believes the horse will improve from the run and that in his opinion similar ground and a trip up to three miles would not pose any problem for the animal in the future.
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Pocketfullapennies was found to have a cut on his right hind fetlock post race. Samples were taken for analysis.
015F Greenmount Conference Centre Handicap Steeplechase & The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Flemensford, trained by Mr. E. McNamara, was found to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.

015G Adare Mares I.N.H. Flat Race & The Stewards received a report from Ms. Joan Taylor, Turf Club Veterinary Officer, stating that she was unable to positively identify Royal Madame, trained by Mr. John J.R. Foley.
Ms. Taylor explained to the Stewards that the filly presented today was bay in colour and had few markings except for an acquired mark through injury. She added that the whorl markings on the neck were the area in which there was a discrepancy and the microchip number did not correspond.
Evidence was heard from Mr. Foley, who stated that he checked the markings of today’s runner when she was purchased privately as a yearling and was satisfied that he had the correct horse. He added that he does not have a microchip reader.
Ms. Taylor further stated that she had taken markings and blood tests today. In her opinion she could support Mr. Foley’s reason for believing that he had the correct filly based on there being no white markings and only the whorls on the neck area being somewhat different.
Having considered the report, the Stewards ordered the withdrawal of Royal Madame and referred the matter to a Senior Racing Official for investigation in accordance with the provisions of rule 90 (v).
Mr. D. O’Connor, rider of Lady Milano, trained by Mr. Eugene M. O’Sullivan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not handle today’s ground.

Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that while interference had occurred they were not satisfied that the winner had improved his finishing position as a result and they therefore made no alteration to the Judge’s placings. The Stewards were, however, of the opinion that T.J.
