274A Kells Maiden & Mr. W.T. Farrell, trainer of So Devoted, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge was showing signs of being in season post race.
274D Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden & The Stewards informed Mr. C.F. Swan, trainer of Bainne that his charge would have to be re-certified before being declared to run from stalls again. Furthermore, they informed him that should his charge refuse to load in future, it may be liable for suspension.
J.P. Murtagh, rider of Rock The Empire, trained by Mr. Edward Lynam, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly left in running in this race.
274F Meath Handicap & W.J. Lee, rider of To The Sky, trained by Ms. Joanna Morgan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount failed to pick up as expected in the home straight. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that To The Sky was found to be post race normal.
F. Lynch, rider of Gris Ladera, trained by Mr. S. Weld, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran very flat in this race.

275A www.tramore-racecourse.com & The Stewards requested a report from Ms. Margaret Mullins, trainer of the winner Stormy Oscar, regarding the apparent improvement in form of her charge compared to the horse’s last run at Roscommon on the 3rd September.
Ms. Mullins reported that her charge disappointed the last day over two miles four fourlongs, wearing a tongue tie for the first time. She added that today’s drop in trip combined with the removal of the tongue tip appeared to bring about the desired improvement.
Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanation offered.
275G Tramore Racecourse 1912 - 2012 Centenary Ladies I.N.H. Flat Race & The Stewards enquired into an incident turning into the straight involving Bunty Lawless, ridden by Miss L. Dowdall, placed fourth, and River Sava, ridden by Miss R. Blackmore, unplaced.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Miss Blackmore had ridden carelessly (Rule 214).
Having taken her record into account, they therefore severely cautioned her as to her future responsibilities in this regard.

276B Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Star Appeal Stakes & The Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Hudsons Bay, ridden by K.J. Manning, placed third, and Dark Pulse (USA), ridden by F. Lynch, unplaced, after it appeared that Dark Pulse (USA) suffered interference.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that K.J. Manning was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having taken his record in this regard into account, they therefore suspended him for two race days (26th, and 27th October).
276C Crowne Plaza Hotel Race & Stay Nursery Handicap & The Stewards enquired into two incidents shortly after horses leaving the stalls. The first incident involved Mystery Angel, ridden by S. Foley, placed fifth, Brady’s Hill, ridden by Megan Carberry, and Cut Me Loose (GB), ridden by C.P. Hoban, both unplaced, after it appeared that interference took place.
The second incident involved Lindenhurst, ridden by R.P. Cleary, Brady’s Hill, ridden by Megan Carberry, and Cut Me Loose (GB), ridden by C.P. Hoban, all unplaced, after it appeared that Cut Me Loose (GB) suffered interference.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, and from Ms. Tracey Collins, trainer, and master of Megan Carberry and Mr. A. Oliver, trainer, representing Mr. M. Halford, trainer, and master of C.P. Hoban.
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards considered both incidents to be accidental in nature and therefore took no further action.
276D Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey & Trainer Championship Maiden & The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Attire, trained by Mr. David Wachman, was found to be post race normal.
276E Dundalk Stadium On Facebook Handicap & The Stewards enquired into an incident in the home straight involving Fairylike, ridden by J.P. O’Brien, placed third, and Foot Soldier, ridden by James J. Doyle, placed fifth, after it appeared that Foot Soldier was checked.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, in the presence of Mr. Shane Lyons, representing Mr. C.F. Swan, trainer, and master of James J. Doyle.
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the interference was accidental in nature and therefore took no further action.
276F(i) Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Stadium Handicap (Division One) & S. Foley, rider of Zalanga, trained by Mr. M. Halford, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was slowly away and did not travel well throughout the race. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Zalanga was found to be slightly lame post race.
276F(ii) Christmas Party Nights At Dundalk Stadium Handicap (Division Two) & The Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn for home involving Lady Bennett, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed second, and Discovery Bay, ridden by J.P. O’Brien, placed fourth, after it appeared that Discovery Bay suffered slight interference.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that the interference was accidental in nature and therefore took no further action.
276G Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden & C.T. Keane, rider of Virtuous Hawk, trained by Mr. Richard J. Walker, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stood in the stalls and as a result lost considerable ground.

358A Waterford & Tramore Directors Maiden & S.M. Gorey, rider of Artful Artist, trained by Mr. J.F. O’Shea, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount made a noise in running.
358B Waterford & Tramore Supporters Club Handicap & The Stewards enquired into possible interference on the turn for home involving Danequest, ridden by S.A. Gray, placed second, Roja Dove, ridden by D.A. McCormack, placed third, and Onslow, ridden by M.C. Hussey, unplaced, after it appeared that interference had taken place.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned and also from Mr. John E. Kiely, trainer, representing apprentice S.A. Gray.
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards made no alteration to the Judge’s placings. They were, however, of the opinion that S.A. Gray was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly and having taken his record in this regard into account, they therefore suspended him for one race day (26th October).
B.A. Curtis, rider of Quench The Flame (GB), trained by Mr. T. Hogan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount hung badly in this race.
358E Follow Tramore Races On Facebook Mares Beginners Steeplechase & Mr. William P. Murphy, trainer of Madame Mado (FR), reported to a Turf Club Official that his charge was showing signs of being in season post race.
P.F. Mangan, rider of Noras Fancy, trained by Mr. James Joseph Mangan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount never travelled and may not have acted on today’s ground. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Noras Fancy was found to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.
358F Ladbrokes Handicap Steeplechase & Miss J.M. Mangan, rider of Annacarton, trained by Mr. James Joseph Mangan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount did not handle today’s ground.
Fairyhouse Meeting, 13th October 2012
The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting: The following riders replaced A.P. Crowe (injured):- S.W. Flanagan rode Missie Ella, trained by Mr. Denis Gerard Hogan (third race) and T.P. Treacy rode Beneficial Banks, trained by Mr. C.P. Donoghue (sixth race) and D.E. Mullins rode Speed Dial (GB) (reserve), trained by Mr. P. Hughes (third race).

277C Become A Member Of Fairyhouse Handicap Hurdle & The Stewards requested a report from Mr. J.A. Berry, trainer of the winner Acriveen, regarding the apparent improvement in form of his charge compared to the horse’s recent form.
Mr. Berry reported that his charge is an inconsistent type who disappointed the last day at Sligo, for no obvious reason. He added that the horse was working well at home in recent days.
Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanations offered.
277E(i) Fairyhouse Handicap Hurdle (Division One) & Mr. Desmond McDonogh, trainer of World Citizen, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge lost considerable ground at the start of this race.
277E(ii) Fairyhouse Handicap Hurdle (Division Two) & The Stewards requested a report from Mr. Noel Brett, trainer of the winner Dactik, regarding the apparent improvement in form of his charge compared with the horse’s recent form.
Mr. Brett reported that his charge disappointed the last day at Clonmel, it being his first run after a break having burst a blood vessel on his previous run. The horse was subsequently given another break and his training method changed to incorporate slower work.
Having considered the report, the Stewards noted the explanations offered.
C.D. Maxwell, rider of Flemany, trained by Mr. P. Cluskey, reported to a Turf Club Official that his mount did not act on today’s ground and was therefore pulled up.
Curragh Meeting, 14th October 2012
278C Mick Ramsey Lifetime In Racing Achievement Waterford Testimonial Stakes & The Stewards requested a report from Mr. J.F. Grogan, trainer of the winner Katla, regarding the apparent improvement in form of his charge compared with the horse’s recent form.
Mr. Grogan reported that his charge was fitted with a tongue strap at Tipperary 10th August and ran well over the five furlong trip on soft to heavy ground. He applied the tongue strap again at Dundalk 19th August but she disappointed over six furlongs on standard ground. He added that she had been trained during the season on all weather surfaces but since her last race she had opportunities to gallop on a local trainers grass surface and as a result of her good work he decided to run today without the tongue strap being applied.
Having considered the report, the Stewards noted its content.
The Stewards interviewed J.P. O’Brien, rider of Maarek (GB), placed second, concerning his use of the whip in latter stages of this race.
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned.
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that J.P O’Brien was in breach of R10(3)(f) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency and R10(4) in that he had failed to give his mount time to respond.
Having taken his record in this regard into account since 1st July 2012, the Stewards therefore suspended him for three race days (2nd, 4th and 9th November).
Mr. V. Clifford, trainer of Malicious Intent, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Tuesday 16th October that his charge did not handle the ground and gave a few coughs post race.
Mr. V. Clifford, trainer of Hurricane Twister, reported to the Office of the Governing Bodies on Tuesday 16th October that his charge choked in running.
278E Irish Field Finale Stakes & The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Chamonix, trained by Mr. A.P. O’Brien, was found to be post race normal.
278F Hackett’s Bookmakers Irish Cesarewitch & The Stewards interviewed C.P. Hoban, rider of Placere, placed sixth, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages.
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned.
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that C.P. Hoban was in breach of R10(3)(f) in that he had used his whip with excessive frequency.
Having taken his recent record in this regard into account, they therefore suspended him for two race days (2nd and 4th November).
278G Stephen Quirke Memorial Apprentice Handicap & The Stewards interviewed Nicola Walsh, rider of Jpevie, unplaced, concerning her use of the whip in latter stages.
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned.
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that Nicola Walsh was in breach of R10(3)(f) in that she had used her whip with excessive frequency and R10(3)(b) in that she continued to hit her mount after her chance of being placed was clearly gone.
Having taken her clean record in this regard into account, they therefore cautioned her.
Limerick Meeting, 14th October 2012
The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting: Mr. L.F. Flynn rode Another Flutter (reserve), trained by Mrs Maureen Danagher (fourth race) and B.T. O’Connell replaced A. Ring (injured) on Saoirse Dun, trained by Mr. P.J. Rothwell (eighth race).
279A Isobel Boutique Adare Hurdle & D.N. Russell, rider of Un Beau Matin, trained by Mr. Gordon Elliott, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was beaten after the third or fourth hurdle. The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Un Beau Matin was found to be post race normal.
279B Greenmount Park Handicap Hurdle & T.J. Doyle, rider of Mackey Boy, trained by Mr. Patrick Neville, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount weakened very quickly and was therefore pulled up.
279C Fergus O’Toole Memorial Novice Hurdle & B.J. Geraghty, rider of Ted Veale, trained by Mr. A.J. Martin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount travelled well but found nothing turning for home.
279D Oakbruce Properties Handicap Hurdle & The Stewards enquired into possible interference after the last hurdle involving the winner Roadtoabbeyfeale, ridden by E.J. O’Connell, and A Decent Excuse, ridden by A.P. Crowe, placed second, after it appeared that A Decent Excuse suffered interference.
Evidence was heard from the riders concerned.
Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that A Decent Excuse had suffered interference, but as they were not satisfied the winner had improved its finishing position in relation to the second due to the interference, so the Judge’s placings remained unaltered.
They were, however, of the opinion that E.J. O’Connell was in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having taken his recent record in this regard into account, they therefore suspended him for six race days (28th, 29th, 31st October and 1st, 2nd and 3rd November).
279E Ladbrokes Munster National Handicap Steeplechase & The Stewards considered the late withdrawal (3.48pm) of Themoonandsixpence from this race owing to change in going. The Stewards attempted to interview Mr. W.P. Mullins, trainer, under Rule 194, concerning this withdrawal, but after repeated calls were made for the trainer or his authorised representatives, no one presented themselves to be interviewed by the Stewards.
Evidence was heard from Mr. T.V. O’Connell, Turf Club Clerk of the Course, who stated that he called the track Soft to Heavy, Heavy in places at 11.15am this morning after receiving 10mm of rain since declaration time on Friday morning. He stated that he walked the track again an hour before racing and in his opinion the track was still as described, Soft to Heavy, Heavy in places and in his opinion it had not changed in the meantime. He stated this race was the first chase of the day and was therefore run on fresh ground.
Having considered the evidence available, including the fact that a declared reserve was denied a run due to the lateness of the withdrawal, and the fact that the trainer or his authorised representative were not available to be interviewed, the Stewards referred the matter onto the Chief Executive of the Turf Club.
The Turf Club Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Mr Cracker, trained by Mr. Michael Hourigan, was found to be post race normal.
279G(ii) STL Logistics European Breeders Fund Beginners Steeplechase (Division Two) & M.P. Butler, rider of Lookoutnow, trained by Mr. Eoin Doyle, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped inconsistently, became very tired and made a bad mistake at the last fence.
