S. Fitzgerald, rider of Littel Flour trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung and jumped left throughout.

P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Game And Glory trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle the ground.

J.C. Gainford, rider of Swift Sonnet trained by John Joseph Winston, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly.

The Stewards requested a report from Matthew J. Smith, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Wat Ua Doin, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Matthew Smith stated that the mare ran freely on her first run for eighteen months and became tired. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards noted the content of the report.

P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Costalita trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

The I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer examined Kings Halo, trained by James Daniel Dullea, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
