The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

P.J. O'Hanlon replaced S.D. Torrens on Game And Glory, trained by P.J. Rothwell (Race 2)(stood down).
D.J. O'Keeffe replaced S.D. Torrens on Bold Brook, trained by Miss Denise Marie O'Shea (Race 5)(stood down).

144A July 8th Family Day (M) Beginners Schase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Ma Belle Etoile, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

K.M. Donoghue, rider of Gaoth Chuil, trained by T.M. Walsh, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount didn't travel or jump early on.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Gaoth Chuil, trained by T.M. Walsh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

Henry de Bromhead, trainer of Ma Belle Etoile, reported to the Clerk of Scales that mucus was found on endoscopic examination post race.

144B Tramore H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Priory Park, trained by E. J. O'Grady, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have coughed once while being examined. Samples were taken for analysis.

144C Racing TV Free Month Trial H'cap S'chase

P.M. O'Brien, rider of Milan Dollar Lady, trained by T.Hogan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

144F Start Your Racing TV M'dn H'dle

Owing to the low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for hurdle number four to be omitted from race six.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident jumping the second last hurdle involving Ellis Mor, ridden by B. Hayes, placed second, and Sunset Boulevard, ridden by S.F. O'Keeffe, placed first, where it appeared they came close together on landing. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

144G Ir. Stall. Farms EBF (M) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident in the back straight involving Fraher Field, ridden by Mr J.L. Gleeson, placed third and Free From Bree, ridden by Mr T.P. Aherne, unplaced where it appeared Free From Bree clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Mr J.L. Gleeson stated that Mr T.P. Aherne was out of his vision and was unaware of the incident. Mr T.P. Aherne stated that he gave his mount a squeeze and ran up on heels and he clipped a heel. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

GENERAL INFORMATION

The Raceday Stewards used their powers under Rule 29 to appoint Mr. Leslie Deacon as Security Officer for this race meeting.
