The Stewards fined the following trainers in respect of their non-runners:-

H. Smyth, trainer of Willyouwalkwithme (Transport Difficulties) - €200
H. Smyth, trainer of Zagnzig (Transport difficulties) - €200

The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S. D. Torrens rode Mighty Meggsie (reserve), trained by Mrs John Harrington (Race 1)
S. F. O'Keeffe replaced C. Brassil on Champagne Izzy, trained by Mrs John Harrington (Race 2)(Injured).
L. P. Dempsey replaced B.J. Cooper on That's Lifebuoy, trained by John Patrick Ryan (Race 5)(unwell).

232A Tramore Amusement & Leisure Park Mdn Hdl

A.W. Short, rider of Chief Black Robe trained by P.J. Rothwell, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount jumped novicey.

The Stewards reviewed an incident in the closing stages involving Cottie, ridden by M.P. O'Connor, placed third and Mighty Meggsie, ridden by S. D. Torrens, placed second, where it appeared that Mighty Meggsie crossed Cottie. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

At the request of the Stewards, D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Young Fitzy, trained by Declan Queally, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount has previously run in bumpers and had failed to get home and was ridden today to get the trip and he stayed on past tired horses. .

232B Frank Gillane H'cap H'dle

J.C. Gainford, rider of Galaxy Girl trained by Patrick T. Foley, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not handle todays going.

232C Comeragh Veterinary M'dn H'dle

The Stewards fined C.W.J. Farrell, trainer, €65 for failing to fit a tongue tie to September Lady, prior to entering the parade ring.

232D Heinz Pollmeier Memorial H'cap S'chase

The Stewards requested a report from J. Morrison, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Caridadi, placed first, as compared with its recent form. James Darren Pratt, Authorised representative for the trainer concerned stated that his charge found the ground too quick and jumped very novicey last time out and a drop back in trip today coupled with the slower ground had helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the explanation given.

232F McCarthys Irish Bar Lexington H'cap S'ch

E. Walsh, rider of Arrycan trained by Liam P Cusack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount did not handle todays going.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Arthur's Quay, trained by Padraig Roche, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
