The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

B. Hayes replaced D. Meyler on Nights Of Doyen, trained by Denis Gerard Hogan (Race 1)(stood down)
P. T. Enright replaced D. Meyler on Sean Says, trained by Rodger Sweeney (Race 4)(stood down)
S.D. Torrens replaced D. Meyler on Shamrock'n Roll, trained by J.R.Finn (Race 6)(stood down).

311B Ardmore H'cap H'dle

The Stewards requested a report from J.P. Flavin, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Doyouthinkso (GB), placed first, as compared with its recent run at Wexford on September 3rd 2022. J.P. Flavin, trainer stated that his charge had been off for a year before Wexford and felt he needed the run. This he said may have helped bring about todays improvement in form. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

311C Irish Stallion Farms EBF (M) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Kilbunny Pontic trained by David M.O'Brien was lame post race.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Mangan Sue trained by Anthony John Black was lame post race.

311F Waterford Greenway Beginners S'chase

Kieran Callaghan, rider of Lizrona trained by Eric Larkin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly right in the later stages of this race.

S.D. Torrens, rider of Shamrock'n Roll trained by J.R.Finn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left throughout.

A. McCurtin, rider of Golden Glen trained by John J. Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was hampered by a faller late on.

311G Copper Coast (Ladies P-Am) INH Flat Race

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Six Ace, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Stewards interviewed Miss J. Corish, rider of Iurkash (FR), concerning her use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Miss J. Corish stated that this was her first ride on the track and accepted she just lost count, but apologised for her actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards found Miss Corish in breach of R 10.3(g) frequency and having taken her previous record into account they cautioned her on this occision.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Six Ace, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
