The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

P.T. Smithers rode Definiteadare (reserve) trained by Charles Coakley (Race 5).
C.G. O'Dwyer rode On The Tide (reserve) trained by Seamus Neville (Race 7).
L.A. Mckenna replaced M.J. Molloy on Rose Of Kalanisi, trained by Paul Stafford (Race 5)(injured).

177A Tipperary Races Beginners S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Implicit (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P. Townend, rider of Implicit (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly and pulled up.

P.K. Donovan, rider of Dark Note (GB), trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake entering the back straight and pulled up.

177C1 Jim Ryan Racecourse Services H'cap S'ch

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after the start involving Itsalonglongroad (GB), ridden by S. O'Callaghan, placed third, I Am Rocco (GB), ridden by P.T. Enright, unplaced, Prince Of Air (FR), ridden by S.D. Torrens, placed fifth, and Lakomet Of Saints (FR), ridden by D.E. Mullins, unplaced, where it appeared several horses ran short of room on the run to the first bend. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. S. O'Callaghan stated that he lined up wide and felt that he was just riding the bend until he heard a shout and corrected immediately. P.T. Enright stated that he felt pressure from his outside on the first bend. S.D. Torrens stated that the horses on his outside rolled in and room got tight. D.E. Mullins stated that he felt pressure from his outside. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found S. O'Callaghan, in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (third offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for eight racedays.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Added Bonus, trained by Brendan Maurice Walsh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.

177C2 Jim Ryan Racecourse Services H'cap S'ch

M.J.M O'Sullivan, rider of Farrokh (FR), trained by Barry Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled and pulled up.

K.C. Sexton, rider of Druim Samhraidh, trained by Paul W. Flynn, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.

P.T. Enright, rider of The Eye Of Tulla, trained by Brian M. McMahon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount felt pressure from the outside on the first bend.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident shortly after the start involving Brown Monday (FR), ridden by Shane Fenelon, unplaced, The Eye Of Tulla, ridden by P.T. Enright, unplaced, A Nod To Getaway, ridden by D.J. O'Keeffe, placed fifth, Coco Lightning, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, placed sixth, and So Easy Way, ridden by D. King, unplaced, where it appeared it got tight for room for some of the runners on the run to the first bend. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Shane Fenelon stated that he lined up on the outside, got a shout from his inside on the point of the bend and moved back out immediately after. D. King stated that he felt pressure from his outside. C. Stone-Walsh stated that he felt pressure from his outside. P.T. Enright stated that he felt pressure from his outside. D.J. O'Keeffe stated that he felt pressure from his outside and was forced to take a check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards found Shane Fenelon, in breach of Rule 214 in that he had ridden carelessly, and having considered his record in this regard (first offence) the Raceday Stewards suspended him for two racedays.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident with a circuit to go involving The Eye Of Tulla, ridden by P.T. Enright, unplaced, and So Easy Way, ridden by D. King, unplaced, where it appeared that it got tight for room and that So Easy Way may have clipped a heel. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. P. T Enright stated that he was unaware of any incident and did not feel anyone clip his heel. D. King stated that his mount was traveling strongly and took a false step at that point. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Farrokh (FR), trained by Barry Connell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

177D Adare Manor Opportunity H'cap S'chase

S. O'Callaghan, rider of Favori Logique (FR), trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped slowly.

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Tullyveery Lad, trained by R.P.Cody, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped poorly.

177E Walter Hennessy Mares Beginners S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Media Naranja, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

177F Baileys Hotel Cashel Beginners S'chase

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Gerard Keane, trainer of Howaya C D And E, concerning the conduct of this horse who refused to jump the second fence. Evidence was heard from Mr. Keane, who stated that his charge is a quirky mare however, she usually runs genuine when she starts. Having considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards used their powers under Rule 14 to suspend Howaya C D and E for 45 days.
