298B Fitzgerald's Woodlands Hse. Hotel H'capThe Raceday Stewards interviewed H. J. Horgan, rider of Timeless Soul (GER), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of the regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that H. J. Horgan was in breach of Regulation 10.3.g(excessive frequency) and having considered his record in this regard the Raceday Stewards suspended H. J. Horgan for four racedays.
R.P. Cleary, rider of Trachonitus, trained by J. S. Bolger, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped the road and was keen early on.
298C Coolmore Sioux Nation Concorde StakesThe IHRB Veterinary Officer examined Dunum, trained by Natalia Lupini, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident leaving the back straight where it appeared Clounmacon had to momentarily check. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Mr R.W. Barron, rider of Switch From Diesel, trained by Seamus Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he used his whip in the fore arm position down the shoulder for correct measures when his mount went to go right.
