At the request of the Raceday Stewards, M.M. McDonagh, rider of Rasiym (FR), trained by E. J. O'Grady, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount jumped big and slow throughout, had to to be ridden away from each fence, warmed into the task and then ran on in the closing stages.

P. Townend, rider of Haut En Couleurs (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up lame after crossing the finishing line.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Haut En Couleurs (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be lame of the near fore post race.

Owing to the low trajectory of the sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for fences 2 and 3 to be omitted from this race.

J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Rockstown Girl, trained by Anthony McCann, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly to the left.

D. Robinson, rider of Deise Bella, trained by David J Phelan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung badly to the left.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Arion Soldier, trained by Eamon Courtney, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was very green throughout the race and idled at the back of the last.

B.W. Harvey, rider of Macs Lady, trained by Shane Ryder, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped very quickly.
