The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

A.P. Kelly replaced G. Brouder on Leis Fein, trained by V. T. O'Brien (Race 4)(injured).
D.J. O'Keeffe replaced M.M. McDonagh on Tasmanian Girl, trained by Aengus King (Race 4)(injured)
Mr. O. McGill replaced Mr D. McGill on Wild Mandate, trained by Mark Michael McNiff (Race 7)(injured)
Sam Ewing replaced J.W. Kennedy on Our June, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 2)(stood down)
Sam Ewing replaced J.W. Kennedy on Hardy Diamond, trained by Gordon Elliott (Race 3)(stood down)

226B Martin Reilly Hyundai (Mares) M'dn H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Get In Line, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

226C Kilcawley Construction Rated Novice Hdle

The Raceday Stewards enquired under the provisions of Rule 212, into the running and riding of Spy (GB), ridden by P. Byrnes, and trained by C.Byrnes. Evidence was heard from the rider and trainer concerned. P. Byrnes stated that his instructions were to ride his mount to finish out the race as best he could. He further added that his mount never travelled early on and he gave him a few reminders in the straight but he wasn't good enough. C.Byrnes confirmed the instructions given and expressed his satisfaction with the ride adding that he was concerned about the slower ground. The Raceday Stewards also received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer who stated that Spy was post race normal. Samples were taken for further analysis. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the explanations offered and took no further action.

226D Apex Controls Ltd H'cap H'dle

A.P. Kelly, rider of Leis Fein, trained by V. T. O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured down the back.

226F Lighthouse At Clifford Electric Hcap Hdl

The Raceday Stewards fined Paul W. Flynn, trainer €65 for fitting cheekpieces to The Truant which had not been declared and ordered it’s removal.

B. Hayes, rider of Wild Shot (GB), trained by John C. McConnell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount lost action behind and pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Wild Shot (GB), at the request of trainer, John C. McConnell, and reported the animal to be post race normal.
