J.W. Kennedy, rider of Wrecking Ball Paul trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran off the track and he pulled up as a result.

191C I.S.F. EBF (Mares) Novice H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Wild Caprice, trained by John Patrick Ryan, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

At the request of the Stewards, Kevin A Murphy, rider of Unlaoised, trained by Nigel Thomas Slevin, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he got unseated shortly after the start, independently of any other horse.

191D Friends Of Brian Opportunity H'cap H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Red Ball Of Fire, trained by Mark Michael McNiff, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

C.G. O'Dwyer, rider of Ena Baie (FR) trained by Conor O'Dwyer, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got kicked at the start but trotted up sound after, he added that he moved poorly and was eased in the closing stages. Subsequently, Ena Baie was examined by the I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer at the request of the Stewards, and was reported to be post race normal.

191E Taylor Construction & Civil H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed G.B. Noonan, rider of Presenting Lad, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. G.B. Noonan stated that his mount was slow at the last but accepted he was in breach of R 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that G.B. Noonan was in breach of R 10.3(i), and having considered his record in this regard the Stewards, pursuant to the provisions of Regulation 10.6(A), suspended G.B. Noonan for 6 racedays and ordered him to attend RACE for 1 day's tuition on the correct use of the whip.

R.A. Doyle, rider of Trim To Milan trained by Gerard Keane, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

191F Sligo Park Hotel H'cap H'dle

The Stewards interviewed R.P. Geoghegan, rider of Not So Simple, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of Reg 10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were satisfied that R.P Geoghegan was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard they suspended him for 7 racedays.

P.J. O'Hanlon, rider of Bang On Target trained by Mrs Lorna Fowler, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount did not handle todays ground.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Don't Tell Allen, trained by John Queally, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

191G Racing Again August 3rd INH Flat Race

Miss F. Leaney, rider of Magnificent Seven trained by Mrs Lorna Fowler, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that her mount veered left in the home straight and ran off the track.

The Stewards interviewed Mr J. Kidd, rider of Bingo Queen, concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted that he was in breach of Reg 10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, including photographic evidence from the I.H.R.B. Veterinary Officer, the Stewards found Mr. J. Kidd in breach of R 10.3(g)(frequency) and 10.3(f)(force) and having considered his record in this regard the Stewards suspended Mr. J. Kidd for 3 racedays.
