The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Shahbaz, trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were also taken for further analysis.
The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Mr. P.L. Malone, regarding the failure of G. Brouder, rider of Arthur's Victory, placed sixth to weigh in after this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he did not think he had finished in sixth position and furthermore, he did not see his name on the board and proceeded to the changing room. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards using their powers under Rule 230, disqualified Arthur's Victory from sixth place. As a consequence, they amended the result to read as follows:

Furthermore, the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that G. Brouder was in breach of Rule 227 and having considered his record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays and ordered him to forfeit his riding fee.
J. Coen, rider of Thunder Rose, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up injured.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed H.E. Sexton, rider of Mr Sundancer (GB), concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who apologised for his actions and stated that it was a genuine lack of experience. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that H.E. Sexton was in breach of R.10.3(b)(unnecessary use when out of contention) and having considered his clean record in this regard, they suspended him for two racedays.
290C Thomas A. Murray Bar (Mares) M'dn H'dleC. Stone-Walsh, rider of Field A Thistles, trained by Ms Margaret Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was lame on pulling up. Subsequently, the Irish Horseracing Veterinary Officer examined Field A Thistles at the request of the Raceday Stewards and the animal was found to be lame on the right fore.
290D1 Regan Tractor And Jeep Sales H'cap H'dleS.D. Torrens, rider of Lispendense, trained by Denis W. Cullen, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stopped quickly.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Lispendense, trained by Denis W. Cullen, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal have a slight cut on the right hind, but was otherwise post race normal.
290D2 Regan Tractor And Jeep Sales H'cap H'dleThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Max Time, trained by I.Madden, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Doonbeg Don, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped after the third last hurdle.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Philip Fenton, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Lispopple, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge had disappointed recently and the reapplication of blinkers and deteriorating ground conditions may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.
290E Image Furnishings H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards fined John Joseph Hanlon, trainer, €65 for failing fit the declared cheekpieces to Phoenix Cowboy (USA), prior to entering the parade ring.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Shuil Na Tra, trained by Norman Lee, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have overreached on the right fore but was otherwise post race normal.
The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr R. James, rider of Vaureal (FR), concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who accepted he was in breach of the whip regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr R. James was in breach of R.10.3(g) (frequency) and having considered his clean record, they suspended him for three racedays.
D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Dancing After Dark, trained by J.G. Bennett, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the last fence on the first circuit and raced too keenly.
290F Ballymore Irish EBF Kilbegnet Nov. S'chP. Townend, rider of Arctic Fly, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a noise, never travelled and pulled up.
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Arctic Fly, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
290G Irish Stallion Farms EBF (M) H'cap S'chThe Raceday Stewards granted permission for the cross noseband on Kudasheva, trained by Henry de Bromhead, to be removed at the start as the animal resented its application. .
The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Emily In Paris, trained by D.E.Fitzgerald, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Kudasheva, trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a mistake at the first.
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from John Patrick Ryan, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Kilashee, placed first, as compared with its recent form. The trainer reported that his charge ran on this occasion without a cross noseband, which helped his charge settle and he felt this may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards noted the content of the report.
B.W. Harvey, rider of Menindee, trained by D.M. Christie, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
