The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

D.P. McDonogh replaced D. McMonagle on Neski Sherelski, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien (Race 5)(stood down)
N.M. Crosse replaced D.P. McDonogh on Window Of Time, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien (Race 5)(stewards permission)
D.P. McDonogh replaced D. McMonagle on Unassuming (FR), trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien (Race 7)(stood down)
N.M. Crosse replaced D. McMonagle on Little Keilee, trained by Ciaran Murphy (Race 4)(stood down)

117A Irish EBF Median Sires Series M'dn

Adam Caffrey, rider of Pure Granite, trained by John M.Harney, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Refreshment, trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran very green around the first bend.

J.J.G. Ryan, rider of Undefeatable, trained by Kevin Michael Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran green into the first bend.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident shortly after the stalls opened involving Native Honey, ridden by D.P. McDonogh, placed fourth, and Undefeatable, ridden by J.J.G. Ryan, unplaced, where it appeared Native Honey jumped right causing Undefeatable to check off heels. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Adam Caffrey, rider of River Derwent (GB), trained by Thomas Coyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was very slowly away from the stalls.

G.F. Carroll, rider of Boadicea Belle, trained by Matthew J. Smith, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left off the bridle.

N.M. Crosse, rider of Purring Along, trained by Thomas Dowling, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount leaned right in the straight.

117B2 Next Meeting On Monday, 20th May H'cap

G.F. Carroll, rider of Dazzling Spirit, trained by Mrs Denise Foster, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

S. Foley, rider of Atbay, trained by Mark Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around a bit when he reached daylight.

J. Kearney, rider of Orandi (FR), trained by A.J.Martin, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount got a small bit tight for room a furlong and a half out.

117D Irish EBF Spring Series Med. Auct. Race

G.M. Ryan, rider of Naval Force, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran wide off every bend.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Jack Spriggins, trained by J.P. Murtagh, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

117F Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) M'dn

The Raceday Stewards interviewed A.J. Slattery, rider of Royal Hollow, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, A.J. Slattery accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. He further stated that his mount was hanging and that he had used his whip for corrective purposes. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied A.J. Slattery was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (first offence and using their discretion), they suspended him for one raceday.

R.P. Whelan, rider of Chemdawg, trained by Oliver McKiernan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount rolled around under pressure.

A.J. Slattery, rider of Royal Hollow, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed R.P. Whelan, rider of Chemdawg, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In his evidence, R.P. Whelan accepted he was in breach of the Whip Regulation and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were satisfied R.P. Whelan was in breach of R.10.3(g)(frequency) and having considered his record in this regard (second offence), they suspended him for four racedays.
