The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Lookondebrightside trained by Peter Fahey was found to have blood at both nostrils post race.

J.P. O'Sullivan, rider of Tom McGreevy, trained by Liz Doyle, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran too free.

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from T.M. Walsh, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Hardwired, placed first, as compared with its most recent run. The trainer reported that this horse has lots of ability but has a tendency to run a bit in and out. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its contents.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr A.P. Ryan, rider of Fleur In The Park, concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he used his whip to excess as his horse was hanging left. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found the rider in breach of Reg.10.3.(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency and having taken his record into account suspended him for four race days.

Mr A.P. Ryan, rider of Fleur In The Park, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left in the straight.
