S. O'Callaghan, rider of Verbal Sparring trained by Desmond McDonogh, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was badly hampered by the faller at the first hurdle.

D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Red Trail trained by Andrew McNamara, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped.

P.T. Smithers, rider of Bayou Belle, trained by Jarlath P.Fahey, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his stirrup leather broke before being pulled up.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Raceday Stewards that Steel Cable trained by Noel Meade was found to have blood at the nostrils post race.

S. O'Callaghan, rider of Gill's Supreme trained by Ross O'Sullivan, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.

D.N. Russell, rider of My Trump Card trained by Gordon Elliott, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made several jumping errors.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined American Mike, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

357D Bar One Racing Price Boosts H'cap H'dle

The Raceday Stewards interviewed S. O'Callaghan, rider of Portstorm (GB), concerning his use of the whip in closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. S. O'Callaghan stated that he had pulled his stick through late on but accepted he was in breach of R 10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found him in breach of R 10.3(g)(frequency) and having taken his previous record into account they suspended him for 8 racedays.

357F Bar One Racing Troytown H'cap S'chase

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Velvet Elvis, trained by Thomas Gibney, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P. Townend, rider of Fighter Allen (FR) trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount made a bad mistake on the first circuit and never travelled after before being pulled up.

357G Coolmore NH Sires EBF (M) INH Flat Race

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr B.G. Crawford, rider of Lily Du Berlais (GB), concerning his use of the whip in the latter stages of this race of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Mr. B. G. Crawford stated that his mount was hanging and he pulled his whip through and also accepted that he was in breach of the whip rules. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards were of the opinion that Mr. B. G. Crawford was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using his whip with excessive frequency. Having taken his previous record into consideration the Raceday Stewards cautioned Mr. B.G Crawford on this occasion.

The Raceday Stewards interviewed Mr T. Hamilton, rider of Jetara, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Mr.T. Hamilton accepted he was in breach of R 10. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Raceday Stewards found him in breach of R 10.3(g)(frequency) and having taken his previous record into account they suspended him for 2 racedays. Mr.Captain.S. H. Walford acting Steward absented himself from this enquiry.
