R.P. Whelan, rider of Hodd's Girl trained by M.Halford, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in the starting stalls.
B.M. Coen, rider of Celtic Manor trained by Garvan Donnelly, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stumbled on leaving the gates.
The Stewards interviewed Nikita Amelia Kane, rider of Trueba, concerning her use of the whip in the latter stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. In her evidence she stated that she was trying hard to ride a winner and exceeded the whip guidelines through misjudgement. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence the Stewards were of the opinion that Nikita Amelia Kane was in breach of R10(3)(g) by using her whip with excessive frequency. Having taken her previous record into consideration, the Stewards suspended Nikita Amelia Kane for 3 racedays.
105C Irish Stallion Farms EBF RaceThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Kirsapp, trained by G.M.Lyons, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be slightly lame post race.
105D Irish Stallion Farms EBF Blue Wind StksThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Sacred Rhyme, trained by Mrs John Harrington, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal. Samples were taken for analysis.
L.T. McAteer, rider of Dearg Jazz trained by James M. Barrett, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount hung badly throughout this race.
S. Foley, rider of Sacred Rhyme trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
105F Irish Racing Writers H'capThe Stewards enquired into an incident about three furlongs from the finish involving Linda Barrett, ridden by A.J. Slattery, Bell I Am, ridden by T.P. Madden and Eloso, ridden by D.E. Sheehy, where it appeared that Linda Barrett was tight for room and received some interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. A.J. Slattery stated that his mount was running a little green when tightened from both sides and contact was made at this time. T.P. Madden stated that he felt that he was holding a straight line but heard shouting from A.J. Slattery on his inner and he responded by giving him room. D.E. Sheehy stated that he got a bit of pressure from his outside and his mount was not good enough to hold his position. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that any interference caused was accidental in nature and took no further action.
L.F. Roche, rider of Zara Mac trained by M.D. O'Callaghan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was bumped at the start.
A.J. Slattery, rider of Linda Barrett trained by J.A.Stack, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was hampered over two furlongs from the finish.
M.P. Sheehy, rider of Dots De Feetya trained by D.J. Bunyan, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount stopped quickly.
105G Lily & Wild Take-Away Picnic H'capS.T. McCullagh, rider of Mia Mento trained by Mrs John Harrington, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount was slowly away.
105H Naas Racecourse (Fillies) M'dnThe Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Wisteria Girl, trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Stewards and reported the animal to be a poor mover.
