The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Icare Desbois (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard and coughed post race.

P. Townend, rider of Icare Desbois (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly after making a noise and was pulled up.

P.K. Donovan, rider of Who's In Midfield, trained by Shane Ryder, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was running keen after the first hurdle and he had to take off heels momentarily.

M.P. Walsh, rider of New York Style (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that he had to take back off heels after the first hurdle.

S.D. Torrens, rider of Klassman, trained by Shane Nolan, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount was running green and having a look around early in the race. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the footage and were satisfied that no action was warranted.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Hypotenus (GB), trained by Gavin Cromwell, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Chosen Witness, trained by W.P. Mullins, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

P. Townend, rider of Chosen Witness, trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount stopped quickly.

Paul John Gilligan, trainer of Cloughroe, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his charge struck into himself in this race.

The Raceday Stewards received a report from the Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Starter, Mr. J.R. Banahan, that Rachael Blackmore, rider of Summerville Boy, Sam Ewing, rider of Amir Kabir (GB), J.W. Kennedy, rider of Firm Footings, B.W. Harvey, rider of Chinx Of Light, C.G. O'Dwyer, rider of Ballybawn Belter, M.P. Walsh, rider of Common Practice, A.P. Kelly, rider of Drop The Anchor, D. King, rider of Thecompanysergeant (GB), M.J.M O'Sullivan, rider of Espanito Bello (FR), D.J. O'Keeffe, rider of Ballywilliam Boy, D.J Gilligan, rider of Jazzy Matty (FR), S. O'Callaghan, Simon Torrens, rider of Rebel Gold, rider of Gaoth Chuil, J.C. Gainford, rider of Cozone (GB), P.T. Enright, rider of Kilbree Warrior, J.J. Slevin, rider of Lord Erskine, G. Brouder, rider of Must Meet Cecil, R.J. Condon, rider of The Lovely Man and S.F. O'Keeffe, rider of West Is Awake had all approached him at a canter before the flag was dropped resulting in four false starts. Evidence was heard from the starter and the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the incident and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted the explanations from Rachael Blackmore and Simon Torrens that they had obeyed the starters instruction but they found all the other riders in breach of R.208 in that they put their mounts into a trot or canter before the race was started and in considering their records in this regard they cautioned J.W. Kennedy, B.W. Harvey, C.G. O'Dwyer, D. J. Gilligan, J.C. Gainford, P.T. Enright, R.J. Condon and S.F. O'Keeffe. The Raceday Stewards suspended Sam Ewing, M.P. Walsh, A.P. Kelly, D. King, M.J.M O'Sullivan, D.J. O'Keeffe, S. O'Callaghan, J.J. Slevin and G. Brouder for one raceday.

Owing to the low lying sun, the Raceday Stewards granted permission for fence 1 and fence 2 to be omitted for this race.

M.J.M O'Sullivan, rider of Snake Oil, trained by Barry Connell, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped during the race.
