The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Irish Panther (GB), trained by E. J. O'Grady, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have have blood at both nostrils post race.
J.C. Gainford, rider of Nothingtoseehere, trained by Cian Collins, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount never travelled.
286B MCG H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident approching the last hurdle involving Helvic Dream, ridden by Sam Ewing, placed third, and Dark Note (GB), ridden by C.M. Quirke, unplaced, where it appeared Dark Note had to switch off his racing line. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. C.M. Quirke stated that his race was run when Helvic Dream switched in, he also added that he did not suffer any interference. S. Ewing stated that he edged in as his mount was having a look at the wing of the last hurdle and felt he was clear of Dark Note. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied no further action was warranted.
M.P. Walsh, rider of Risk Belle (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran short of room and clipped a heel. Having viewed footage of the incident, the Raceday Stewards took no further action.
S.W. Flanagan, rider of Sherodan, trained by Peter Fahey, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount pulled up lame five furlongs out.
286C Guinness H'cap H'dleThe Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident on approaching the last hurdle, where it appeared Dream Once More, ridden by S. Fitzgerald, ran slightly short of room. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.
286D Paud Fitzmaurice Memorial H'cap S'chaseThe Raceday Stewards granted a request from Adrian Sexton trainer of Essential part, for an additional 10 minutes to present his charge for identification to an IHRB Official in accordance with Rule 90(i).
286F Listowel Failte Abhaile (Q.R.) RaceThe Raceday Stewards received a report from the Clerk of the Scales, Ms A. O'Keeffe, that Mr R. Sugrue, rider of D Art D Art (FR), weighed in at 1.6lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he took on some fluids after weighing out. Having considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that Mr. R. Sugrue was in breach of Rule 231(iii) and in considering his record the Raceday Stewards suspended him for one raceday. Mr. S. McDonogh recused himself from this enquiry.
286G Shanahan Ir. EBF (M) (P-A) INH Flat RaceMr E.P. O'Brien, rider of Grainne A Chroi, trained by Miss M.Harding, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung in the last half mile.
