The Stewards authorised the following substitutions of riders at this meeting:

S. Foley replaced G.F. Carroll on Curvature, trained by Mrs John Harrington (Race 4)(Stewards permission, intended mount a non-runner)

278A Irish Stallion Farms EBF M'dn

A.J. Slattery, rider of My Princess, trained by Andrew Slattery, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that he got tight for room and intimidated in the closing stages. The Raceday Stewards reviewed the closing stages of this race and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

G.M. Ryan, rider of Starliner, trained by Donnacha Aidan O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount ran wide at both bends.

278B Rose Hotel H'cap

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Rock Dandy, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount received a bump turning for home. The raceday Stewards reviewed this incident and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

Adam Caffrey, rider of Lisieux, trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his saddle slipped in the closing stages of this race.

278C Kelleher Feeds & Agri Supplies H'cap

J. Coen, rider of Free Solo, trained by P.J.F. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right in the straight.

L.F. Roche, rider of Ivasecret, trained by John Joseph Hanlon, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung right.

278D Edmund & Josie Whelan Mem. Listowel Stks

The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Mrs John Harrington, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Maud Gonne Spirit, placed first, as compared with its recent form. Niall Amond, Authorised Representative for the trainer, reported that a step up in trip and more favourable ground conditions may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted its content.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fleetfoot, trained by J. S. Bolger, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

278F Listowel Arms Hotel H'cap

Adam Caffrey, rider of Saltonstall (GB), trained by Adrian McGuinness, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount hung left turning the final bend.

D.P. McDonogh, rider of Snapraeterea, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount was slowly away from the stalls.

278G Jet, Peggy & Eamonn O'Carroll Memorial H'cap

The Raceday Stewards interviewed S. Foley, rider of Quiz Test, concerning his use of the whip in the closing stages of this race. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that he was in breach of R10 and apologised for his actions. Having viewed a recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that S. Foley was in breach of Regulation 10.3(g)(excessive frequency) and having considered his record they suspended him for 4 racedays.
